My TOP 25 scenes from the Black Scorpion TV show!

I created this video last year for the annual “October to Remember” event on the “Behind the Mask” forum.

It’s time that the video now gets available for visitors here and on my YouTube channel as well!

Here is the original text from my forum post then:

I worked on this over a couple of hours, skipped through the whole season, made notes, and rated scenes.
Then I cut every scene to around 30 seconds or so.
I edited all of that together and added some pictures, lettering, and some score.

So what did I make?
Quite a long video with my TOP 25 scenes of the Black Scorpion show.
My initial idea was to make a TOP 22… because of 22 episodes… but well…. 25 sounds cooler.
I could have made a TOP 50 with good scenes as well… but I think this video took long enough.
I will upload this one to my blog in December… but for the next … at least … 5 weeks this is an exclusive video for this site (unlisted on Youtube).
Between the TOP 10 scenes, you will see official Black Scorpion promo pictures.

So, take your time (15 minutes) and I hope you enjoy it!
….perhaps you might even wanna make a game out of it in terms of guessing which scenes will be in the TOP 10 or so….
…. the first scene will begin after 15 seconds….

You will find the rank of the scene in my ranking and info from which episode it is in the line at the bottom.

Some scenes were edited to make them a little more compact… so that the video wouldn’t get too long.

I thought about putting headlines into the video like “Black Scorpion gets unmasked by Flashpoint” … but that would spoil it… for those few who don’t know these scenes.

Masked female agent VS villain and security guards

Thanks to the nice guy who recommended this one on my favorite forum!

Haven’t watched the full movie yet as it’s a cheap-looking flick with quite a bizarre script from what I have seen so far.

But… it certainly has a great scene for this blog!

This is the only scene in the movie where she is wearing a mask… or more correctly… maskS.

Let’s start with her outfit: Well, …… it’s safe to say that the costume designer isn’t a woman. 😉

Quite a revealing outfit and some impressive twins!

And these two are verrrry often presented like this throughout the movie.

Seemingly the director and/or the producers wanted to show them as much as they could without a nude scene.

And the poster of the movie shows very good what this movie is about:

Her masquerade is unusual and very interesting:

She does wear a simple mask as the base disguise and on top of that one a pretty large eye mask with some nice textures on it.

A very nice combination that is very rare!

The first fight with the villain is already a highlight as he (99% sure) already makes an attempt at unmasking her…

 

…as his hand is clawing for her mask! But she quickly moves her head to the side (or pushes his arm aside?) so he grabs into the void.

I love unmasking attempts and they are quite rare … so I love such a scene!

He sees the sexy masked intruder and the first chance he gets he goes for her mask! Yes, that’s how someone should behave who fights against a masked woman. 🙂

The second fight with these two is even better!

Ok, the lighting is rather bad since there is that colorful background light.

But the fight is done quite well and as soon he gets another chance he goes for her mask… again! A good villain 🙂

And this time she can’t stop him as he rips off her mask! But to his surprise he only half of her masquerade…

So, this is a “partial” unmasking… a very rare element.

She escapes before he can make another attempt on unmasking her completely.

The stunt where she lands in the moving van is quite laughable (why has she to land in a moving/sliding van?).

Nice that she immediately unmasks herself.

Sadly we can only see her for seconds then before the scene is over too soon.

All in all this a verrrrrry good discovery as there are 2 really good fight scenes that include an unmasking attempt and a partial unmasking! Much more unmasking action as in the average scene with a masked woman. 🙂

Black Scorpion TV show – The best scenes from the best episodes – [Episode 3]

Ok, after long 5 months it is time to have another post about the legendary Black Scorpion TV show!

The show is in my Hall of Fame and if you are into masked women, this TV show is an absolute MUST have!

 

Today, it’s all about episode 3….my personal favorite episode! Even the “biggest” unmasking comes later on in the season.

An episode with several awesome scenes which makes an EPIC episode in total!!!

And being embedded in a TV show it’s really very suspenseful as you know these characters for some time already.

Normally I post the pictures before the video, but this time I wanna do it differently as the pictures give away every great scene of this loooooong video.

And these pictures are really from a SINGLE episode! Not a whole season….just one(!) episode.

Ok, about the video:

I love these scenes big time! It’s the only time someone else is (successfully) unmasking her while she isn’t restrained.

I love how the henchwoman unmasks her by surprise and that Flashpoint wants to take pictures of her unmasked to become a famous photographer.

Good though that she was shielding her unmasked face like that and that she took care of the camera….even she thereby created a supervillain.

And he doesn’t give up easily! As they manage to blind her with his special “light” he is unconscious once more. Love the suspense as her hand is reaching for her mask, ready to unmask her again!

But again, she can escape.

Later on, she is knocked out again (:lol:) but he has no camera with him. She is really lucky!

Then she unmasks herself in front of Steve who luckily is still dizzy and can’t see her exposed face.

And that’s not even it….

The final scene where Steve’s hand is touching her mask…is incredibly sexy for me! Love the suspense and tension in such a scene!

She seems ok with him unmasking her, but he has second thoughts. Perhaps he is irritated that she doesn’t resist him.

Once more she gets out of the situation without anyone finding out her precious secret identity.

This single episode is really so close to perfection for me! It has everything and plenty of it. 🙂

 

P.S.:

What I would give for a Blu-ray release of this show or an HD TV airing!

Black Scorpion TV show – The best scenes from the best episodes – [Episode 1]

Ok, I guess and hope that many of you already know the Black Scorpion TV show…. and since I didn’t cover the show with enough posts in the past…I wanna change that now.

The show is in my Hall of Fame and if you are into masked women, this TV show is an absolute MUST have!

A little extract from my post in the Hall of Fame (more info on the show can be found there):

I remember how I stumbled upon this show in the early 2000s.

This show was never shown here, but at some point, I read about the show and saw some pictures.

I immediately bought the DVD box set in the US and it took a while to get the Season box set to arrive here.

I also had to buy a DVD player that could handle region 1 DVDs. It was a pretty expensive endeavor, but damn, it was worth it BIG time! ?

I watched one episode every evening until I have seen all 22 episodes.

And that was a great thrill ride every night!

Ok, enough introduction….let’s start with one of the best episodes.

It’s Steve’s first encounter with Black Scorpion! This starts his obsession with catching the Black Scorpion. He was transferred to this police department to catch her…. and I envy him big time! What a fantastic job! He gets paid to chase after such a stunning masked vigilante…oh man!

The ending of the episode with Firearm is so awesome! I love how he blackmails her to unmask herself….such a great move, and he really enjoys it 😉

One of the rare villains who actually wants to know who is under the mask of a heroine. And her reaction to it is well done and played as well!

Plus it’s a great bonus that he recognizes Darcy…and again, I love how he is enjoying the whole situation.

A good move that she quickly puts the mask back in place as soon she gets the chance.

In the end, Firearm has to die….after all, he had seen her face, so it was the most logical choice from the writers to get him killed.

It was the first episode if a villain like him would found out about her secret identity and would be able to tell everyone…it would be a short TV show.

Damn, I would give for a Blu-ray box for this TV show!!! Or a (not so cheesy) remake with better action scenes… #dream

A vampire UNMASKS Kate Beckinsale!

This scene was missing on this blog for too long, time to change that!

In this one we have the goddess Kate Beckinsale who is under the spell of an evil vampire! And he wants her to become one too 😉

Well, that must be a lucky vampire….nearly until the end of the scene 😉

And really impressive what kind of cleavage you can build with the right dress.

She looks really stunning and of course he can’t wait and unmasks her right away. Even if the mask was only a decoration in this scene it is still great to see Kate getting unmasked.

In parts a standard “heroine in peril” clip, with a lame story, bad acting and everything. But this one a nice mask (that hides something) and a really sexy outfit! Wow! Much better than 95% of the usual.

  1. Good suit with nice… views. But I don’t like the goggles.
  2.  Interesting design! Nice idea with the transparent elements. But the cowl is too “bulky” it doesn’t fit so good. And the boots, hmh, not my taste…

What do you guys think about this catwoman version and her costume?

I really like the cowl, but on the same time the whole thing with the goggles…. not my thing. The goggles are way to often “up”, so it doesn’t make a good mask.

The unmasking is ok and the costune is really good!

But this actress!!! Her acting…. never seen ANYTHING worse in that direction 😆
