I finally am catching up with the last season of a certain TV show and stumbled upon this scene.

Yeah, a nice scene. I like that she is wearing two masks, even the cloth thing is most likely just there for comfort.
But in my mind, it is her backup mask in case someone yanks off her main mask 😉
It’s also good that the two know each other so the unmasking has a bigger impact as they have quite a history and now she is with the bad guys and is threatening him and his dog.
Of course, I would have preferred that they would fight and then there would be a dramatic unmasking after one or two failed attempts… but no luck 😉
And at least a glimpse of some sort of sexiness in this TV show. Zombie apocalypses are very unsexy after all 😆
I really like this video, and I also hate it! Why? More on that later on…

Ok, where to start?
I watched the episode and the blonde master thief was introduced. The police were never able to prove any of her thefts and she was planning something.
Of course, my fantasy imagined a great heist scene where she would battle some cops who tried to stop and unmask her.
I was really thrilled by the possibilities 🙂
Then she goes on a heist, and puts up a great mask …. and you might imagine how I reacted to the scene that followed 😉
I cursed at my TV as she was running away and unmasked herself for NO reason! DAMN IT! WHY????????
I mean the police already predicted she would show up there and that’s why all the cops were on the scene undercover.
But she is still masked and could escape. WHY does she unmask herself as she is running away?
That makes no sense at all. I mean as long she is masked she is still “safe” as the cops have no proof that she did it.
It would have been so great if Nolan (the guy in the security dude uniform) would wrestle her down and unmask after a fight… but NO, of course not!
It’s a real trope by now that masked women always unmask themselves for no reason.
That drives me crazy! Another wasted opportunity 🙁
I mean she is already wearing a nice catsuit (sort of) and the mask in combination with the cap is a great disguise… but they screw it up.
Also, it is quite odd that she is on a heist and is wearing these ankle boots with heels but… ok, not as crazy/unrealistic as a Catwoman with stiletto heels (TDKR)….even she was insanely sexy.
The second masked woman is just a little bonus as she is just a nameless henchwoman.
In my imagination, she would have also prevented the unmasking at a nightly heist (without a crew) and would then re-appear in later episodes 😉
Well, I don’t write these scripts…. hopefully, there will be more masked women in the show.
Well, luckily I have improved in some ways over all these years as there is nearly no text to it.
This absolutely great unmasking deserves an UPGRADE! A BIG one!

First of all, this is an early Batwoman version (Katrina Moldoff) before Kate Kane and Ryan Wilder appeared way later on.
I think her costume is overall ok, but I’m not a fan of that mask that is basically just a big version of an eye mask and doesn’t hide much.
But well, that was basically everything negative I have to say about that scene 😉
She fights really well and brings down the Riddler, but then she gets careless and lets her guard down.
I love how he uses this situation to his advantage and just goes for her mask, unlike so many other villains.
He knows how important her secret identity is to her, and he has seen the reporters, so he knows how devastating the effect of the unmasking would be.
The ripping sound as the mask gets yanked away from her face is awesome, even not 100% logical as it’s hard to say where that sound actually is coming from as it sounds as the fabric gets ripped. And her mask isn’t really attached to anything….as it seems.
But ok, not important as the sound is soo great 😉
Her reaction to it is great and she is really surprised and terrified by his move! Maybe that explains why she moves her head around and thereby is presenting her unmasked face to the reporters which makes the unmasking so much worse for her.
Even it would have been bad enough if “only” he would know, as he could use that knowledge against her.
He really enjoys the whole unmasking and how he defeated her completely with it. I wish many more villains would think like him! (#hallo TV show/movie writers)
And all that was completely improvised as he just saw her for the first time some minutes ago.
Also, a nice aspect as Batman comments the unmasking as a “dirty trick” from him.
The facts that the reporter immediately recognize her famous face and the newspaper with “Katrina exposed!” are additional bonuses!
Very hard to say what that would mean to Batwoman, the Arrowverse, and all the other shows on the CW.
So, I don’t know if a new owner would be good or bad news. First, that sale actually has to happen…

Somehow I completely forgot to post about Ravager in season 2 of Titans.
Ok, her mask is more like a fashion item in the show and doesn’t really give her a secret identity, but a mask is a mask.
And this mask is solid and covers enough of her face 🙂
For this video I edited two scenes together. The first scene os from episode 12 of season 2 and the 2nd is from episode 13.

Some fine fight scenes and I like how she unmasks her father and then herself at the end.
There are some more scenes with her in mask, but nothing with action if I remember right.
Would be nice to see more from her in season 3 if she is still around then. Perhaps then she might have a secret identity and fights against people who don’t know who is under that mask.

Some INTERESTING news on season 3 of Titans:
On the DC Fandome they talked about the upcoming season 3 of Titans.
They confirmed that
A) season 3 will be set in GOTHAM! (Oh…. the possibilities for appearances of masked women!!!) 🙂
B) there will be also a commissioner Gordon! And not the one YOU think! It won’t be Jim Gordon….it will be BARBARA Gordon who leads the Gotham police!
That is already good news!
Of course it doesn’t mean that Barbara will dress up for her other job at night….but who knows? It wouldn’t surprise me if Barbara is frustrates as hell with the police in Gotham and pursues justice in a more “direct” way….at night 😉
At the DC Fandome on September 12 there will be a 30 minute panel, hopefully some more news already shows up there.
The panel on the last weekend had only 15 minutes.

On the bad side, her secret identity isn’t really a secret because nearly everybody learns who she very quickly (…without unmasking her…DAMN!).

I do like her mask and her skills, but the struggling is way to short for my taste and we should have seen much more from her.
Sneaking around in that outfit would have been cool.

And she does look really sexy in that tight catsuit. And the mystery of her mask is a great addition to the scene.

[SPOILERS AHEAD]
Well, ok, two things are not so good:
The fact that it is a movie in a TV-series….so that the camera goes “out” of the scene and we see the movie theatre, that is a bad surprise.
And the fact that she pulls up the mask herself. Ok, she was kind of forced to do that…and it was in her plan to seduce him. But I wish that she had other plans, like escaping with her mask on.
That way we could have a nice fight between these two and an unmasking attempt or even a “real” unmasking.
On the other side she looks really sexy in that leather outfit with her mask on. Good how I wish to be him in that scene. Finding such a woman in such an outfit…sneaking around.
And the revealing as she pulls off her mask….WOW…what a beauty!

In this one we have a Villainess that really likes masks 😉
She wears two different gas masks in two scenes in the movie. I edited the clip in a way that you won’t see her first unmasking after the first scene. I
In that way the mystery stays alive a little longer. The unmasking is added later on. As well as a scene where she arrives on a motorcycle in a stunning leather outfit (and masked with a helmet).
So this women is masked three times in the movie, she does understand us 😉
Ok, I must admit, this video has really annoying screen texts on it, haven’t found a better one.
A user named FDS recommended me that one at the end of last year. I hesitated a little to post it here because of that texting, but there is a beautiful woman who wears a mask, so…

A solid mask and a nice unmasking. Good that she tries to stop the unmasking. The struggle should have been a little longer though.
