Female Dark Moon Knight gets unmasked! [Masks off! #46]

Lately, I have become a little lazy when it comes to checking out the new comics for interesting scenes with masked women.

So thanks for the nice guy who posted about this one on a forum!

Quite rare stuff!

Not often do you see someone rip open the full-face mask of a masked woman!

Also nice that they talk about it a little… that he wants to see her face and that she says “You won’t get the chance!”.

Even the reader only gets that comment as he is already ripping her mask… a little late.

Would have been cool if there had been one small extra panel with her masked face delivering that line. And a “RIIIIIPPP” text would have been nice as well 😉

I do like that he is curious enough to unmask her, that should be the normal reaction if you fight against a masked woman/man, especially with a full-face mask.

So many villains just don’t care enough 🙁

Now, after he exposed her face he knows who she is and can see her (facial) reactions. She isn’t protected by her mask anymore and is more vulnerable now.

*EDIT September 3*: At first she manages to blind him and prevents him actually seeing her exposed face.

But that advantage is lost quickly….

All in all a really good scene! 🙂

I guess I should start to check out the new comics more regularly again!

A masked female assassin VS a woman with a bow [Blog exclusive]

Thanks a lot to the nice anonymous guy without an email address who recommended this one!

In this video, which I edited out of 2 TV episodes, we have a masked female assassin and her target who isn’t defenseless at all.

These scenes are from 2 episodes and I made a special cut to re-arrange the scenes in the “correct” order (timely-wise).

The scene where the assassin is hit by the arrow is just told in a flashback in the second episode.

The scene where the guy sees her driving by and unmasking herself is the first episode.

I cut out about one second at the beginning where she puts on her mask… to keep her identity secret until she unmasks herself.

All in all a very nice scene! She looks great in her mask and I wish there would be more assassins like her… in the movies at least 😉

The unmasking isn’t so great as she unmasks herself and the camera isn’t very close to that.

Of course, I would include a close combat fight with someone who would try to overpower and unmask her… but well, no luck here.

A shame that she ended up like that…. would have been great if she had survived and would then be out for revenge later on in the episode.

A cruise ship …and a masked female jewel thief

So, it’s finally time for a new post.

Thanks a lot to the nice guy for the recommendation on this scene!

In this one, we have a masked female jewel thief on a cruise ship!

Well, that’s a really nice setting for sure! You don’t see many scenes with masked women on ships 😉

The setting is quite dangerous for a burglar as she (normally) can’t escape the ship soon afterward, so she must be sure not to be seen or followed.

The lighting in the cabin is very dark and it’s hard to get a good look at her until the final reveal, but well… that makes a lot of sense.

Damn, I would have loved a chase with some passengers or crew members trying to catch her, trying to unmask her. But no luck…

But the scene here is very nice. It’s right at the beginning of the episode and no one in the audience can possibly know who is hiding under that mask.

The reveal is done nicely, I like how she unmasks herself and is watching her new necklace in the mirror.

Sadly, she doesn’t appear again in her mask again in the episode 🙁
