Today the CW released the starting date for season 2!
That’s 80 days to go!

And it’s actually the first Arrowverse/CWverse show that’s coming back!
Black Lightning will return on February 8.
The Flash will return on February 23.
Superman & Lois will premier on February 23 right after the Flash.
*EDIT*
Here a newly released graphic with all the start dates:

Glad that Batwoman is the first show (of the Arrowverse/CWverse) that will be shown next year! I do like Black Lightning and the Flash as well, but I can definately wait some weeks longer for them.
Don’t know what to think about the Superman & Lois show yet. I will give it a try, but so far I’m not thrilled to see it.

January 17….you can’t come soon enough! 😉

*EDIT2*
A short but great video from set shows Javicia in the new costume:

Wow, a really good, pure view on the costume! Even the cowl is missing…
The CW released these two promo pictures of Javicia Leslie in her NEW Batwoman costume(will debut in episode 3 of season 2):

DAMN!
I am (positively) surprised!
Love these new shiny, smooth panels on her costume! Very sexy
Also the red gauntlets are awesome. Thanks god the cowl didn’t get smaller/less concealing like I feared.
The cowl has a chin strap again!
This really fuels my anticipation for season 2 after we got practically nothing in regards of promo pictures and no teaser or trailers so far!
The movie is one crazy mess, but this scene has certainly something 🙂

Well, a shame that the villainess wasn’t unmasked, even she is only wearing a one dollar Halloween mask. But it did hide just enough to make me curious.
The unmasking of the heroine is solid. Good to see a villain(ess) who cares enough to unmask the hero(ine).
And the smoking hot Carmen Electra does look better without that weird metal thingy.
The stunt/fight coordinator is sadly on the same level as the person who designed the mask….
However it is a very rare sight to see two masked women fighting each other….+ one of them is Carmen Electra….. 🙂
Yeah, it’s just a first glimpse on the costume as it was shot at night from a distance.
But you can see that Javicia doesn’t use the red wig from season 1 anymore. As they mentioned it already in the past months….her natural, curly hair is (still) visibile when she is in costume.
Besides that it is hard to say what was changed on the costume as well. Was the cowl changed as well? What about the suit?
Well, I hope that we will get some official promo shots of her in the new costume very soon.
Maybe this leaked material will speed up the process like in the past as all the set pictures surfaced.

What do you think of these pictures and the video?
A new, interesting video from Bluestone is now available to buy!
This one would actually fit to both of my blogs 🙂
Official description:
Natasha returns as Dark Bat! She has finished the night’s patrol, removes her mask, and relaxes at home. Too late, she smells the gas! She rises to shut it off, but it has already taken its toll and she weakens and passes out.
A Gatekeeper carries her into the bedroom and tosses her on the bed. Then, he takes instructions to gas her to death. In the meantime though, she has recovered consciousness. Dark Bat takes the fight to him, knocking him about and dominating the fight, but eventually he gets in a few good shots and manages to turn on the gas again and don his gas mask. Dark Bat knocks the gas mask free, and both struggle to reach it before the other one.
In the Peril version,
Spoiler title
she dons the mask and defeats and kills the Gatekeeper!
In the Extreme version,
Spoiler title
the Gatekeeper pulls Dark Bat away from the gas mask and eventually dons it himself, and strangles Dark Bat to death as the gas steadily weakens her!

As you can already see on the pictures the heroine isn’t masked for long.
This video is (for me) all about a sexy heroine fighting over one gas mask with a villain to stay alive. And I love that! That struggle about being able to breath air instead of gas.
Even it isn’t actually shown on the pictures above….you can get a glimpse on that in the trailer:
(Screenhots from the trailer – click to enlarge)
Natasha looks great in her costume and that stunning pantyhose!
Seeing her fighting against the bad guy is really something. 🙂
As always the fight scenes in Bluestone videos are done really well for such a genre video.
The same can be said about the acting. There are not many dialog lines, but Natasha does a good job as she has to play the struggling heroine, which isn’t easy to perform convincingly.
Regarding the different outcomes of the video: Personally I prefer the “peril version” (see description above) 😉
I would love to see one of the Bluestone heroines in the Batgirl cowl fighting with such a gas mask. The villain would try to gas her to knock her unconcious. She is prepared and puts on such a gas mask over her mouth and nose. His goal would be to unmask her and tape that on phone. That way the heroine would fight for her cowl AND her gas mask to keep her secret identity. 😉
They would struggle a long time while they are getting the upper hand on the other one for several times.

Here are the links to get one (or both) of the 2 versions of this new episode of Dark Bat:
If you know Carmen Electra from Baywatch and B and C movies….this sounds like an awesome thing!
Carmen Electra was a gorgeous babe in the 90’s and still looks very hot in the 2000’s as well.
There are some animated TV shows and the pretty new “Spider-Man: A new universe” movie with Spider-girl, Spider-woman and Spider-Gwen.
But in terms of “real” movies and TV shows there is nearly nothing so far.
One exception was this short appearance of (a version of) Spider-girl in this movie.

And here is the video:
…sorry, had to remove it…..you are too late…
–
(I edited/shortened the scene slightly to remove two rather…..really, really, really low level jokes….)
Well…yes, it’s a good scene….but it has some flaws also.
Let’s start with the good aspects of the Spider-girl scene.
The idea of putting the stunning Carmen Electra in a tight Spider-girl suit……is pretty awesome! 😉
I really like the boots and the suit is good, even the net structure looks a little….cheap.
It’s great to have such a woman in a full face mask….BUT the front part of the mask looks pretty awful and they cheated big time in this scene!
The front part of the mask is SADLY just a piece of material that is fixated on the rest of the mask. It looks really cheap and ruins the unmasking.
The scene would have been so much better if she would actually rip open a spandex/latex Spider-mask to reveal her face! I really like to see masks getting damaged and/or ripped. But they choose the very easy way and ruined that unmasking…in my opinion.
However, Carmen does look great in that costume and I wish the scene would have been longer and in a movie that isn’t a comedy.
