(the video wasn’t welcome on YouTube as well…. really annoying lately)
–
Well, the movie is only available in Turkish, so haven’t watched it fully and don’t have a big clue on what is going on exactly.
Ok, there are some German sentences and these I do understand (no surprise) but those don’t help much.
But the scenes with the two masked women are really nice and I also like that we get to see both unmaskings as well, even if it’s only self-unmaskings.
Not a big fan of that net structure part on that Balaclava mask… looks weird.
The other woman has some tactical outfit of the German police… rare to see that on a woman, especially in an international movie/TV show.
Interesting that they all seem to be on the same team, so it looks like they can all escape.
On the other hand, it would have been nice to have the masked “villainess” to fight the masked police woman #unmaskingbattle 😉

You can find the whole movie (or TV episode?) on YouTube (for now).
No more masked women in it, as far as I know.

A Merry Christmas to all of you!
Or whatever you do or don’t celebrate… have a good time 🙂
I will make one more post before the year is over.
After I upgraded the existing posts last week it’s time to make a post about the exciting scenes I haven’t even posted about …so far.
I’m talking about the “Birds of Prey” TV show.
As I mentioned… there are only a few Batgirl scenes in it as Barbara Gordon is actually Oracle in this show… for most of the time.
But there are some interesting flashbacks in the show’s very first episode.

Well, I think the Catwoman costume is ok. I mean it was just meant to be on screen for some seconds so they didn’t put up a really big effort or budget to make a great one.
But it’s so sad that there once was such a Catwoman and such a Batgirl in Gotham and the show actually starts later on without them. 🙁 #scriptcrime
These two (and more) during a full TV show? That would be insanely awesome… maybe one day…
But it’s nice that we get some more Batgirl footage in this one, even the fight in the hallway is cut pretty badly so it’s hard to see much.
The highlight is actually the scene where Batgirl slams into the wall.
If you check that in slow-motion you can actually see how her cowl lifts up quite a lot and she is in danger of getting unmasked! #stuntwoman
But I guess it wouldn’t have made much difference in this case as the Joker already knows that Barbara is Batgirl as he shows up at her apartment … #uncool
And it’s a nice bonus to have that self-unmasking in another flashback scene as well!
Well… pretty insane/irresponsible to unmask herself in a public place like that… even at night.
Perhaps she was aware that this was only happening in that mind-control game? Hard to say…
I like how her bat symbol is the only flashing color in that scene… very iconic/symbolic.
Today I wanna present a Batgirl fan film that just premiered this week.
I watched it yesterday and I think it deserves to be the topic of the weekly post here.
And this is a Batgirl film that wasn’t canceled! 😉
At least not yet… don’t know if DC/Warner will let it stay on YouTube or not.
In the past the fantastic “Batgirl: Spoiled” series was stopped after the second episode for example, even these episodes are still available on YouTube.
(That’s why I save every video I think is really good and that I wanna rewatch)
If you have a little over 30 minutes… watch it!
Official Synopsis: Following the murder of Jason Todd, Barbara Gordon must choose between her life and her aspirations of finding and killing The Joker, Jason’s murderer.

Watch the film and then continue!
Wow, that was a dark ending… not really surprising… if you know the comics.
Personally, I don’t like that aspect of the “Killing Joke” as it is such a trauma for Barbara and banned her from being Batgirl for a long time.
I think the movie is shot really well and the acting is quite good as well.
I mean it’s a fan film that was crowdfunded with a little over 2.000$ and is over 30 minutes long, quite a length for such a film.
Her costume is just okay… but I really like the Batgirl cowl they used. A quality cowl, especially if you just have such kind of budget.
Kendall Felix, who plays Barbara and Batgirl, also directed and wrote this film.
The short fight scenes here aren’t really exciting, but that is …again… a money issue I would say.
Not surprisingly… Batgirl has quite a lot of screen time here, but also Barbara as well.
I like the self-unmasking and the re-masking in this one.
Also that she tosses her cowl on the ground as she enters the apartment in the end.
Even that meant that she was standing unmasked in the hallway… quite risky. 😉
Funny that this fan film also has the trope of heroes standing around unmasked on rooftops at night.
I wouldn’t recommend that….
Another plus point is the music in this one, very fitting with a heroic tune as soon as the movie title appears.
This one was recommended to me a while ago, but I shamefully forgot about checking out the movie.
Now I finally did, and damn…. it was worth it!
I watched the whole thing to get the full context.

I edited the whole sequence into two parts so it had a better chance of getting onto YouTube.
It was still restricted… but only in one country, and only about 1% of the watchers of the YouTube videos (on my channel) are from this country so I think it’s ok.
I saw Tania Raymonde as she was still a girl on “Malcolm in the Middle” for the first time and then later I started to get a little crush on her.
And now she has a post on both of my blogs… but more on that later on.
The masks are really nice, hiding their identities perfectly.
It’s a shame that she didn’t get unmasked by someone else… but we have 2 self-unmaskings and quite a lot of screentime of her in that mask. 🙂
And to know that Tania Raymonde is under that mask… oh boy!
In my version she would have tussled with a guy on that bed… and he would claw into her mask, she would fight back and then he would finally manage to tear her mask wide open… unmasking her. 😉
Also, a nice bonus that Lili Simmons is in this one! Banshee is one of my favorite TV shows and she is in it.
Sadly this movie isn’t available at all on Blu-ray (or DVD) in Germany (so far). I only found a British DVD version of it.
Hopefully, that will change, but as the movie is already 6 years old… I somehow doubt it.
Wanna see more of Tania Raymonde? Check out this post on my other blog:
Thanks a lot to the nice guy for the recommendation on this scene!

Well, that’s a really nice setting for sure! You don’t see many scenes with masked women on ships 😉
The setting is quite dangerous for a burglar as she (normally) can’t escape the ship soon afterward, so she must be sure not to be seen or followed.
The lighting in the cabin is very dark and it’s hard to get a good look at her until the final reveal, but well… that makes a lot of sense.
Damn, I would have loved a chase with some passengers or crew members trying to catch her, trying to unmask her. But no luck…
But the scene here is very nice. It’s right at the beginning of the episode and no one in the audience can possibly know who is hiding under that mask.
The reveal is done nicely, I like how she unmasks herself and is watching her new necklace in the mirror.
Sadly, she doesn’t appear again in her mask again in the episode 🙁
My free time is very limited right now as I am in World Cup fever and preparing for the Video shot (next week) for my other blog Frogwoman Org.
But at least I wanna recommended a movie to you today that you can find on Youtube.
The picture quality isn’t good, but it’s a TV movie that never got released on DVD/Bluray.
I hope it gets aired in HD on TV someday.

She looks really great in her full-face mask. And the opening is really strong as she gets caught but can escape the trap.
I also really like the relationship between the hero and her. Of course, I would have LOVED it when he finds out who the masked thief is by unmasking her in a fight.
The scene where she seemingly escapes him as she leaves the trunk starts nice… but I hate that she immediately unmasks herself and not pulls it back on as she hears his voice.
Quite erotic that they then have sex as he finally caught the thief.
All in all some really nice scenes that I will present one by one… IF… there will be a better picture quality available.
In this one “Supergirl” (in her Spider-girl costume) saves the day but encounters some problems afterward!
An epic, bizarre self-unmasking battle is the result 😆

This is a very early episode of “Supergirl” where she runs around in a costume that looks a LOT like the early “Spider-girl” costumes from the comics and animated TV shows.
Quite bizarre already.
But what then happens inside her home is ….also… quite bizarre and pretty unique.
A heroine who desperately tries to unmask herself over and over again… That is quite a very rare situation!
Her mask is magic and the source of her superpowers. Most of the time…not always… it is secured in place by some kind of force and bad guys have a very, very hard time to unmask her.
Which is quite great by the way 😉
But from what I understand her mask has also some kind of own will or something like that.
I guess it wanted her to stay in her Supergirl/Spider-girl costume 😉
Really odd how she gets thrown around/jumps around the room 😆
Of course, the CGI with the magic mask looks quite bad (#blurry), but the sound effects are nice.
And it’s a nice reversed situation.
Normally masked superheroines don’t want to be unmasked and here she wants to unmask herself but has such a hard time.
Thanks a lot (again) to the one who recommended me this one a while ago!
This bizarre Superheroine show is quite a rollercoaster.
It has 129(!) episodes, which are available on Youtube!
A masked superheroine in different costumes and solid masks is the lead character!
It has a lot of secret identity issues incl. unmaskings and unmasking attempts!
It even has a masked villainess that is in many episodes!
Sounds fantastic? Well yes…. BUT…. there are also some problems.
More on that later on…

I combined scenes from 2 episodes for this one. One episode ends just after the villainess unmasked herself and we see Supergirl’s shocked face. #cliffhanger
–
Here are the problems the show has for me:
– Obviously, the language issue if you are not familiar with it… no dub or subtitles are available
– The playlist of this show has 129 videos with episodes but they are …often… not in order… a total mess
– It’s a soap opera, a really over-the-top soap opera… that you can realize very quickly without understanding a word 😆
– Really bad CGI and a total overload of superpowers
– some really annoying characters like a magic micro-mini-human
But, it also has a lot to offer 🙂 (as mentioned above)
Now to the scene itself:
Supergirl knows who the villain is, I think she was/is in love with him as he was turned into this evil character.
So he is shocked to find her under the mask of his enemy… Supergirl.
He wants to protect her so he carries the unmasked Supergirl away before the villainess can find her.
It’s been a while since I watched (skipped through) these episodes and the language issue makes it a lot more difficult to follow the crazy storyline.
I like the struggle with her and that he unmasks her, even the camera should be more focused on her face.
But I certainly love the expression on her face as she realizes in terror that he unmasked her.
She should have put up more of a fight… but I guess the way she got smashed against the tree was still affecting her big time.
I love how the guy is tossing her mask on the ground as he isn’t exactly happy about finding out that his love was Supergirl the whole time.
All in all, a really interesting scene.
In other episodes, she is wearing a costume that makes her look like a version of Spider-girl, also really interesting!
And the mask is actually the source of her power, as soon she puts it on she turns into the superheroine.
That means an unmasking leaves her powerless AND destroys her secret identity, quite a combo.
I guess I could make …at least…. 5 more posts with scenes from this show.
I will think about it….
–
The hint where to find the playlist with the other episodes can be easily found in the video 😉
Now it’s time to post about another scene that I haven’t posted here for some reason.
But it’s certainly an interesting scene as well!

That was certainly a more interesting self-unmasking as she unmasked herself in front of a villain(ess)!
Darcy knows the professor “Ursula Undershaft” and she knows that Ursula is the villainess Aftershock.
Which is not a surprise at all as her “mask” is very unusual and ridiculous. 😆
I mean it doesn’t hide all the decisive parts so it’s stylish, but also useless.
Black Scorpion takes a big risk by unmasking herself! But well, in the end, the plan somehow works out, even not as intended.
She certainly wanted to save Ursula, but that wasn’t an option anymore.
By the sacrificial death of Aftershock the reveal of her secret identity doesn’t have any effect on her superhero career.
Of course, I would have preferred that neither Black Scorpion nor Aftershock would have known each other’s secret identity …and that they have an unmasking battle… but you can’t have everything 😉
This one is quite a rollercoaster but see for yourself…

Watch the video before you continue!
Ok, first of all, the picture quality is quite bad. The movie is not that old (2012), but I still haven’t found a better source than this.
There is a Polish DVD of this flick, even with English subtitles, but it’s quite rare and not so cheap.
Hopefully, I will upgrade this post in the future.
I only have a video in the Polish language without subtitles, so I don’t know why exactly the two masked intruders are there.
Also, it’s a shame it’s a comedy… which ruins the tension here and there. Like the music does when the first woman opens her leather jacket.
However an awesome dream!
But now to the good aspects! There are quite a few 🙂
There are 3(!) mask-related actions in about 4 minutes… quite an accomplishment! And 2 different hot women.
First, she gets unmasked by him! A little quick.. but I like that he immediately goes for her mask after he took control of her arms.
Then we get to see the other woman and how she masks herself and then unmasks herself back in the van.
Also, she looks really great in that leather jacket and the mask!
Damn, what I would give to find an intruder like this one day….
It’s a nice touch that he first dreams of one woman and then another one shows up in another great outfit… sadly this one then quickly runs off after she got hit randomly by the clowny guy.
Would have been interesting if he would have gotten for her mask here as well 😉
