Now it’s time to post about another scene that I haven’t posted here for some reason.

But it’s certainly an interesting scene as well!

Black Scorpion faces the villainess Aftershock who wants to destroy a whole city with her earthquake machine!

That was certainly a more interesting self-unmasking as she unmasked herself in front of a villain(ess)!

Darcy knows the professor “Ursula Undershaft” and she knows that Ursula is the villainess Aftershock.

Which is not a surprise at all as her “mask” is very unusual and ridiculous. 😆

I mean it doesn’t hide all the decisive parts so it’s stylish, but also useless.

Black Scorpion takes a big risk by unmasking herself! But well, in the end, the plan somehow works out, even not as intended.

She certainly wanted to save Ursula, but that wasn’t an option anymore.

By the sacrificial death of Aftershock the reveal of her secret identity doesn’t have any effect on her superhero career.

Of course, I would have preferred that neither Black Scorpion nor Aftershock would have known each other’s secret identity …and that they have an unmasking battle… but you can’t have everything 😉

Masked female psycho attacks a woman

In this one a woman is followed by someone who then puts on a mask and attacks her.

First of all: She survives and is actually only slightly injured.

So, what is the story behind this?

The masked woman wants to injure her so she can’t participate in some exercise group at a gym.

The Psycho wants to join that group that does stream their workouts because she is obsessed with the woman who leads that group.

As the one girl is injured a spot is open for her to join that group.

The scene itself is nice I think. It’s really odd that she looks behind her and realizes that someone is there.

That someone is wearing a creepy mask! But instead of running she just walks on… really odd.

Another thing is that the attacker is wearing heels on her ankle boots, not very clever if you wanna sneak up on someone.

Oddly enough the woman doesn’t realize at all that she got attacked by a woman… well at least until the end of the movie.

The unmasking is sadly just another self-unmasking… but the reveal is done really nice as the camera zooms in on her face.

I watched the whole movie and it’s really solid.

The moron and the hot, masked, leather chicks

Ok, first of all, the picture quality is quite bad. The movie is not that old (2012), but I still haven’t found a better source than this.

There is a Polish DVD of this flick, even with English subtitles, but it’s quite rare and not so cheap.

Hopefully, I will upgrade this post in the future.

I only have a video in the Polish language without subtitles, so I don’t know why exactly the two masked intruders are there.

Also, it’s a shame it’s a comedy… which ruins the tension here and there. Like the music does when the first woman opens her leather jacket.

However an awesome dream!

But now to the good aspects! There are quite a few 🙂

There are 3(!) mask-related actions in about 4 minutes… quite an accomplishment! And 2 different hot women.

First, she gets unmasked by him! A little quick.. but I like that he immediately goes for her mask after he took control of her arms.

Then we get to see the other woman and how she masks herself and then unmasks herself back in the van.

Also, she looks really great in that leather jacket and the mask!

Damn, what I would give to find an intruder like this one day….

It’s a nice touch that he first dreams of one woman and then another one shows up in another great outfit… sadly this one then quickly runs off after she got hit randomly by the clowny guy.

Would have been interesting if he would have gotten for her mask here as well 😉

Of course, I was hoping to see another masked female killer and wasn’t disappointed.

Of course, I was hoping for a dramatic unmasking/reveal in a fight… and of course, I was disappointed as usual 😉

The movie is good and entertaining and I am glad I watched it at the cinema.

The aspect to have a

Spoiler title
father and his son and daughter
as the killers… really nice.

Even I hope they will not continue to add more killers in future movies…. this is enough 😉

The reveal here is nice, but nothing more.

The main problem is that you hardly ever know which masked killer it is in which scene.

If you would know the attacker is a woman, it would be more thrilling… but with that costume… it’s barely impossible.

The cast here is really cool as we have 4 pretty hot chicks in it in kick-ass roles. Really cool that Hayden P. was in it again.

So, I can only recommend you to watch the whole movie, even you know one part of the ending now.

Yeah, the picture quality isn’t really good, there is nothing better available than a VHS recording.

But damn, she certainly is a very sexy masked attacker!

Sadly I was never surprised by such a masked woman at my home 😆

I also like her mask which is basically a combination of an eye mask behind a full face mask.

Certainly a great disguise 🙂

A lot of things are quite odd here as they don’t make much sense, but ok, this is a softcore flick after all.

Maybe this is one of the longest scenes in it where they managed to keep their clothes on for more than a minute.

So, if you wanna see (much) more of her, you should watch the whole movie 😉

Even though it’s only a self-unmasking the reveal is quite something as you don’t often have masked killers who look like that.

A shame that it all was just staged.

Would have been really something if she had been dramatically unmasked in a long struggle.

Still a good scene with a smoking hot masked woman in a great outfit and mask! 🙂

The masked art thief, some guards … and some heroes

This sounds SO GREAT on paper:

We have a female art thief who is fully masked! 🙂

We have a bunch of security guards who actually confront and battle the art thief! 🙂

And we have some heroes incl. 2 women (one masks herself) who also fight against the art thief! 🙂

…..but…..

ARRGGGGGHHHHH!

They start the episode with that fully masked art thief and of course, I think about the possibilities of a great unmasking or an attempt to unmask her.

I was 100% sure that the thief was a woman from the first seconds of the scene, even her baggy clothes and 3-part mask are disguising her perfectly.

But her eyes gave it away instantly.

The fight with the guards was nice but also weird.

Why is the guard shooting at an unarmed thief (Is Gotham in Texas? :lol:)

Why is the thief risking damaging the picture as she throws it around in the fight?

Her strategy wo wait for the guards is weird at first but gets explained later on.

She wants to know them all out to be able to escape without being pursued (if I understood that right).

A shame none of the guards manage to get into close combat with her. One reach for her mask would have already been awesome!

The confrontation with the Gotham Knights is a total disaster in terms of having an interesting unmasking.

It’s nice to see Harper masking herself! Why doesn’t Stephanie has some sort of mask? Damn.

I highly doubt the bullet would get deflected like that as it hits the car. I mean the car isn’t armored, the bullet would just blast through the outer frame and would get stuck there… in my opinion.

Now the art thief is wounded… the heroes arrive and she immediately gives up and unmasks herself.

DAMN!

And the reveal isn’t good as well as the masked super thief isn’t the stunner as I hoped.

Such promise… and then that! All that left me rather frustrated…

Ok, I do like the first scene, so it was nice… but another missed chance.

It’s good that the heroes here in the show use masks for the first time! I hope that they will do that regularly from now on, especially the women 😉

And hopefully, they will have real costumes and masks before the show is over.

That is the main reason I watch the show after all.

Mr Terror … the masked villainESS!

Yeah, just a short scene… but I like the reveal as it is quite a surprise to find a “slightly” crazy mother!

She was perfectly disguised with a baggy outfit, a full face mask, and a voice modifier. Not exactly a sexy disguise… but a very effective one for sure.

The scene is from a kid’s TV show with a lot of comedy elements so it’s hard to take it really “seriously”.

Still a good reveal and twist 🙂

This TV show was recommended to me about a year ago, time to make a post about it 😉

Thanks to the nice guy who recommended me this one!

We have a raging battle and a masked general who is out for revenge.

I added that ending so you could see her fully unmasked without that helmet as well.

Well, that is quite a mask combo! A helmet, a metal mask that covers the areas around the nose and eyes, and a piece of fabric that covers the lower face.

She is very well-protected and also nearly perfectly disguised!

I don’t know why she even covers the lower part of her face… as that fabric won’t protect during a battle… but seemingly her enemies shouldn’t know who this mysterious masked general is.

In my version the bad guy would have been more competent and also been curious to see who is behind that mask 😉

With that masquerade, a great unmasking struggle would have been possible… but no luck.

But all in all a good scene with a great disguise 🙂

A double-masked villainess

I finally am catching up with the last season of a certain TV show and stumbled upon this scene.

Time to post it here!

We have a guy wandering around, but he isn’t alone. A mysterious masked woman is following him!

Yeah, a nice scene. I like that she is wearing two masks, even the cloth thing is most likely just there for comfort.

But in my mind, it is her backup mask in case someone yanks off her main mask 😉

It’s also good that the two know each other so the unmasking has a bigger impact as they have quite a history and now she is with the bad guys and is threatening him and his dog.

Of course, I would have preferred that they would fight and then there would be a dramatic unmasking after one or two failed attempts… but no luck 😉

And at least a glimpse of some sort of sexiness in this TV show. Zombie apocalypses are very unsexy after all 😆

I really love this full-face Batgirl mask that Cassandra Cain is wearing.

It’s a modified cowl version where the previous openings have been “closed”.

This version is a perfect disguise and leaves a LOT of opportunities for mask damage 🙂

Spoiler here got kidnapped by her own crazy father and sadly that unmasking isn’t shown…. damn!

But luckily Batgirl arrives so we get some nice action.

I love how she rips open her own mask as she rips out the piece over her mouth/lower face!

She is still masked very well so that the crazy guy can’t see enough of her face.

What is quite weird and interesting is that Batgirl’s mask is suddenly complete again as they are leaving!?!

So, what has happened? Did she pull out a reserve mask? And if yes… why?

Or did she stitch the mask back together in a hurry? 😆

Pretty sure that is more of a continuation error here of the artist, but don’t know for sure.

A good little scene as you don’t see many scenes where a masked heroine is damaging her own mask!

Quite a shocker at first that Spoiler gets killed, but conveniently Batgirl has a Lazarus serum.

A heist with two masked women in broad daylight!

I really like this video, and I also hate it! Why? More on that later on…

I stumbled upon this scene as I watch this show for a while and finally started watching it again.

We have two masked women in a heist 🙂

Ok, where to start?

I watched the episode and the blonde master thief was introduced. The police were never able to prove any of her thefts and she was planning something.

Of course, my fantasy imagined a great heist scene where she would battle some cops who tried to stop and unmask her.

I was really thrilled by the possibilities 🙂

Then she goes on a heist, and puts up a great mask …. and you might imagine how I reacted to the scene that followed 😉

I cursed at my TV as she was running away and unmasked herself for NO reason! DAMN IT! WHY????????

I mean the police already predicted she would show up there and that’s why all the cops were on the scene undercover.

But she is still masked and could escape. WHY does she unmask herself as she is running away?

That makes no sense at all. I mean as long she is masked she is still “safe” as the cops have no proof that she did it.

It would have been so great if Nolan (the guy in the security dude uniform) would wrestle her down and unmask after a fight… but NO, of course not!

It’s a real trope by now that masked women always unmask themselves for no reason.

That drives me crazy! Another wasted opportunity 🙁

I mean she is already wearing a nice catsuit (sort of) and the mask in combination with the cap is a great disguise… but they screw it up.

Also, it is quite odd that she is on a heist and is wearing these ankle boots with heels but… ok, not as crazy/unrealistic as a Catwoman with stiletto heels (TDKR)….even she was insanely sexy.

The second masked woman is just a little bonus as she is just a nameless henchwoman.

In my imagination, she would have also prevented the unmasking at a nightly heist (without a crew) and would then re-appear in later episodes 😉

Well, I don’t write these scripts…. hopefully, there will be more masked women in the show.

The Queen of Swords unmasks herself… and a bad guy witnesses it!

I posted about the best mask-related scenes here some years ago… but I missed one scene that surely needs to be here as well!

This TV show is in my Hall of Fame and is certainly one of my favorites 🙂

Here we have an episode where Tessa finds out that there is a man who actually knows who killed her father.

Of course, she wants to know and actually saves this guy (as Queen of Swords) from the evil duo the Colonel and the Captain.

But then something really bad is happening….

In the past, I often mentioned how careless some masked heroines are when it comes to self-unmaskings in (more or less) public places.

For example, Batwoman unmasked herself on rooftops and alleys at night in the TV show. There was always the danger that someone might show up or would watch it from the distance.

I’m not a big fan of such careless behavior… as I don’t want anyone to uncover a secret identity out like that.

The Queen of Swords was more careful in general and here she thought it would be safe to unmask herself in her own home which is placed quite remote.

But, unlucky for her… the scumbag was peeping through her windows and saw how the Queen of Swords unmasked herself and he recognized the face of Tessa.

And that is such an enormous problem for any heroine with a secret identity… especially if it’s a bad guy.

With his knowledge, he approaches her when she is the most vulnerable. Tessa is alone, without weapons, and without her costume.

Her dress is also making it more difficult for her as it slows her down.

 

Quite unusual that the show really gets that dark and that they have a bad guy who actually wants to rape the heroine/her civilian self!

That never was a topic in shows like Black Scorpion, Batwoman, etc.

And here she really gets into a big dilemma, as she wants to know from him who killed her father, but also has to defend herself and take care of the fact that he knows her biggest secret!

The outcome is the only possible outcome for me. He knows her secret identity, he tried to rape her… she has to kill him, even if that means that she won’t find out who killed her father… at least at this point.

These scenes perfectly demonstrate the danger of losing a secret identity… and therefore I need to post about it.

Masked highwayWOman in action! #1

In this post we have a highwayman in action, well, and as it is a post on this blog….a highwayWOman is actually more precise.

Well, I don’t know how they get fooled into thinking it is a highwayMAN that is before them…

Yes, it’s rather dark and yes, she perfectly uses a male voice and is disguised really well.

I still think that you should be able to get that this is actually a woman under these masks.

But ok, not really an important issue.

I really like her mask combo with that hat, the eye mask, and the cloth, very effective…. reminded me a lot of the Nightwatchman and HER 3 part mask combo.

The scene is pretty funny as well, as Dr. Who just stumbles around in his modern clothes and interrupts the robbery.

Of course, I would have preferred her to be unmasked by him… but the self-unmasking is nice.

Especially as she reveals herself to be a rather famous GoT star (the actress).

I will make another post about her where I will reveal the exact episode of Dr. Who where these scenes can be found.

Stargirl, Season 3, episode 13 [short review]

Finally, I could watch the new Stargirl episode today.

The final one of the season.

The final one of the entire show.

It was a solid finale with ….finally… some action and a good ending for the show and wholesome endings for most characters.

It clearly looked like the producers knew before the final episode that the show wouldn’t be renewed as there is no real cliffhanger in this one, but a real ending.

So it works much better as a final episode than the last Batwoman episode where the folks thought the show would go on.

The final showdown at the junkyard was nice, even though I expected a little more action. Especially Wildcat had very few action scenes here.

But at least the masked women had quite a lot of screen time in this one 🙂

 

In my opinion, the show has some flaws: too little action, too little screen time for the masked women, practically no secret identities, too many heroes, and villains vs heroes fighting each other without the public knowing about anything.

But, it had 4(!) masked women in the show lately, so it was always very exciting for me …when… they had some scenes.

So, like Batwoman…. Stargirl has come to end now as well.

Not a good feeling.

I hope there will be a new show with a masked woman as the lead character soon to fill that …. void.

After all, there are so few TV shows which can offer that.

Oh, and the last episode actually offered a female unmasking in the last minutes:

Not my favorite mask, but it’s a good disguise for sure. Nice to have some unmasking content in the very last episode.

Kind of a farewell gift 😉

A masked female agent on a burglary

A good disguise and quite a dramatic turn of events.

I think she overreacted big time, I mean her partner was beaten with a bat, ok, but that’s no reason to shoot someone.

And if she shoots it doesn’t need to be a deadly shot.

Ok, it was pretty dark… but that boy with his bright shirt was still visible well enough…

All in all a solid scene.

Later in the movie, we have terrorists in gas masks. There is also one female terrorist, but she is infiltrating the event as a waitress and the only terrorist that doesn’t wear a gas mask at any time.

DAMN! A missed opportunity….
