This episode of a TV show has some really great scenes! Another one that I discovered through a great compilation video with masked women.
In this episode we have two really good scenes, today I wanna present the first one to you.
So, you may guess what I might be posting next week on Sunday 😉

Some story-snippets: They two meet earlier in the museum where he witnessed her snooping around. So he had a strong hunch about who he would find under that mask. 😉
I love that he uses the moment of surprise to immediately unmask her, clearly catching her off guard. I think they cheated a little with the unmasking.
The whole time her mask was fitting pretty tightly. But as they cut to his hand grabbing onto her mask, the mask is rather loose and much less fitting.
I guess they “prepared” the mask so the unmasking was easier to be done.
However, I enjoy that he goes for her mask and the lines they exchange. I like how she gets away by choosing the better escape route. She runs into a guard, which could be a big problem, especially as she isn’t masked anymore!
But it’s pretty dark and she is moving quickly to get him out of the way. I’m sure that he didn’t get a good look at her face.

Actually, this movie was featured in one of the earliest posts on this blog back in 2013.
Some weeks ago I still thought that it actually still was on the blog, but it wasn’t anymore….and honestly, I am not sure what exactly happened.
However, I was planning to make a new post about it. A nice guy recommended me a store that actually has a DVD of this rare movie quite a long time ago.
Finally, I bought the DVD, even it was rather expensive in total, but hey….I just had to have this one in the best quality available.
So, why this movie is so interesting?
Because it’s about a gang of female robbers! They are wearing full masks in two rather short scenes and then are running around in sexy smoothskin wetsuits and masks for nearly 20 minutes!
So again, it would partially fit my Frogwoman blog as well, and I will make a post on it as well, with an additional short scene. More on that later.

Yeah, two good scenes with effectively masked women! Really well disguised!
As later on, they are dressing like men to fool anyone who might see them. In a later video, you see who they even hide their “twins”.
The unmaskings are rather disappointing for me since they are cheating big time! I guess the director or someone else was concerned that their hair would look messy if they just pull these masks off. So they got their hair done nicely and held their masks close to their faces and removed them from then on so it would look more or less like they would pull the masks off their heads in that scene. 🙁
I certainly wouldn’t have done it and would have shown their unmaskings without any cuts or tricks.
Perhaps some folks might have been surprised that there are women under these masks, even I think you certainly can see that in close-ups on their masked faces, that these aren’t men…if you look at the “exposed” eye sections.

So, I divided the long hotel robbery scene into 4 videos to keep these short.
That way the chances are better that they can stay on Youtube.
3 more women have joined the team to make the big heist that they have planned.
A big hotel on a rather remote island is their target!

Well, that was quite a robbery! I just love the idea to have 6 women in wetsuits and (modified) scuba masks robbing a hotel!
The preparations pay off and the job goes pretty smoothly for the most part.
Of course, my highlight is the ending where the two guys sneak up on her and then try to unmask her! That is so sexy. The way she desperately struggles to keep her mask on is really well done.
She knows exactly that she would be finished if they manage to yank that scuba mask off. Yeah, she would still have her hood on, but they would see a face that they then could describe to the cops.
Of course, the scene should be a little longer, but ok, it’s a rather AWESOME scene anyhow 🙂
Luckily they are wearing sexy black wetsuits that are appropriate for such a nightly action.

Ok, the poster maker took a LOT of liberties as they are wearing completely different wetsuits, doesn’t look anything like these girls, don’t use spear guns, and so on.
But damn, it’s a very attractive poster for sure 🙂

So, if you want the DVD of this movie, I can recommend the site where I got it.
I had to pay 19 Pounds incl. postage, but it was surely worth it!
Don’t get me wrong, the movie isn’t bad, but especially for the ones who love to see masked women….it was a wasted opportunity. 🙁
For obvious reasons I re-watched a lot of the Sean Connery movies in the last weeks, and this was one of them.
The starting position is really promising:
You have grandmaster Sean Connery and you have the stunning Catherine Zeta-Jones as a master thief!
What you could do with such ingredients….
But let’s start at the beginning of the movie [SPOILERS ahead]:
A thief climbs down a skyscraper and breaks into it, robs a painting, wearing a some odd full face helmet with a display in it.
Only later we get to know this was actually the master thief that is played by Catherine Zeta-Jones. Quite a surprise!
A guess that the whole part was played by a stuntman as you can’t see for sure at any time of which gender the thief is.
But at least the thief was masked during the heist….more on that later.

In this scene Catherine practises her movements while avoiding the “security measures”.
Ok, the isn’t really masked, but she is wearing a blindfold…which is practically an advanced eye mask.
And good old Sean Connery certainly seems to enjoy what he is seeing…. 😉

This scene is quite sexy as Catherine moves carefully through the openings between the fake lasern beams. I totally understand why Sean reacts like that.

These pictures show some of the wasted potential of this movie (especially for those who love masked women).
On the first heist you don’t know that it is Catherine, you can’t even see that it is a woman.
On both later heists she doesn’t wear a mask! Completely idiotic…. I am sure the producers said: “We have Catherine Zeta-Jones in our movie! We can’t disguise her pretty face….”.
A really bad decision! Anytime a guard could walk in, she could be filmed the whole time. Only really dumb thieves would break into some place without a mask when there is only a slightest chance for beeing seen/recorded.
She does wear a wetsuit in one scene, but that is only seen from these binocular shots as she quickly puts on a bathrobe.
The scuba scene is rather uninteresting as it is very short and dark. And I am sure that none of the two actors actually dove at all in that scene.
As they get into the room with the golden mask she is wearing that weird suit you see on the pictures above.
What is that? A ski suit? A 70’s b-movie space suit? It doesn’t look good and it isn’t skin tight like it should be.
I mean she is moving through invisible laser beams that would trigger the alarm. Her clothing should be REALLY tight to improve her chances.
There is also a third, final heist…but she doesn’t wear a catsuit or a mask then either. 🙁

Yeah, it is a solid movie…but damn…. still I get a little mad everytime I think what COULD have been….
Imagine Catherine in a real catsuit, with a real mask (cowl).
A guard discovers her, they fight. A second guard arrives.
They try to unmask her. She can barely avoid it, but her mask gets ripped/damaged.
She must flee quickly. Guards chasing her….

This one is a great example of perfection and complete failure can be found in just some minutes of a video.

First of all …some bad aspects:
Who created the heist scene?
Museum guards with assault rifles? Isn’t that a BIT much? Why not bazookas too?
A laser system that goes around that chalice, which is open at the top(!?!)….and completely useless/unnecessary IF you have 4(!) guards with assault rifles(!) standing around it.
None of the guards is watching the guarded object! WTF??????
All of the guards are completely deaf! No one hears anything from what is happening one foot behind them (she moves very quietly…but she must make at least some noise)!
No one seems to check the cameras that there are in such a museum! (and would spot her immediately)
And worst of all:
She UNMASKS herself …as she is still in the museum!!!
A very BAD move my dear! (cameras and guards she could run into)
But, on the GOOD side:
She looks great with and without the mask!
The mask fits perfectly and is a perfect disguise as well. It is also greatly secured as the leather jacket “covers” the lower end. Her leather outfit is great. 🙂
I love these flat, over-knee leather boots…realistic AND quite sexy.
It’s good how she is cornered on the streets (even without a mask) and it is so difficult to escape for her.
Now imagine how EPIC this scene would be…..IF (the “Maskripper version” of this scene):
She steals the chalice.
She runs into some guards (while still masked), let’s say three.
They don’t have assault rifles (lol) …they have batons.
She puts her great martial arts skills to good use and delivers a real battle even against all three of them.
She kicks them, uses leg scissors, punches, throws.
They get more and more angry and embarrassed that one woman seems to be able to fight against all 3 of them.
They start to coordinate the attacks better.
Two grab her arms and fixate her.
The third: “Let’s see how this feisty one looks underneath her mask”
He reaches for her mask, stretching it, playing with it slowly, enjoying it.
The cameras zooms in on her face. The desperation in her eyes. She grunts and moans, trying to break free.
Her mask is getting loose slowly.
“NO! STOP that!…..NO!”. She is on the brink of panic.
Finally, she manages to kick the guard who is still playing with her mask, he falls on his back.
She struggles hard to break free from the other two. One of them is reaching for her mask. Touching the fabric. (slow-motion).
In that moment she kicks the other one off her side.
Immediately she uses her free hand to grab into her mask, stopping the unmasking. She kicks him too.
All three attack her, she dodges around and the battle continues.
2 are down by now.
The last guard grabs her from behind, pulling her very close.
“You fought very well, but I won’t let you escape. …. especially not with your mask on!”
He starts to yank on her mask as she hits him right in the face with her back head. He falls on his back with a bloody nose.
“I rather keep it on!”
More guards are closing in.
The camera zooms in on her sexy boots as she runs away.

The heist is pretty hilarious, she manages to deactivate two alarm systems, but there was another one and either the painting was too heavy or she was afraid she wouldn’t make it out in time anymore.
It’s fun how she sneaks into his apartment and changes into the bathrobe and embarrases him in front of his partner(?).
Honestly I have never seen a complete episode of this TV show.

The video doesn’t have english audio, but I don’t know if an english version of this exists at all since it is a rather “small” french movie.
However there is little dialog in this one, so it doesn’t rally matter.
We have an attractive female cat burglar that sneaks into a museum…but one guard isn’t fooled by her little “distraction”.

The scene ends there, no more scenes with her in that catsuit in the movie.
What I really like about this one: She has to fight really hard to escape with her loot! The guard knows some martial arts and she is in real danger in both fight scenes.
He could knock her out or even UNMASK her in that fight….and that would be her end for sure!
I love the tension and intensity of these fight scenes.
Of course it would have been great if he would have been able to grab onto her mask….but no such luck.

I didn’t cut antyhing from the cat burglar out of the video, it is not seen how she gets thrown out of the window. But it wasn’t by that guy, it was a curse that this golden statue emanates (if I understood it right, haven’t watched the whole episode).
Of course you might know what I don’t like about the video 😉
It’s a shame that we didn’t see the cat burglar unmasking herself or even better: watching her getting unmasked by Tia Carrere in a long struggle!
But she looks great in the catsuit and mask and she also wears sexy boots as well. And a catfight with a masked catburglar and Tia Carrere……is a great thing to have!
Funny that the guy tried to attack her with that shoe…..brilliant plan 😆
The way they shot the cat ears in front of the cat burglar, really good. Just looked like that ears would fit to her.

In the last episode of Gotham (ever), we see a 10 years time jump in the future. And for that they choose a new actress as Catwoman/Selina Kyle. Since Camren Bicondova is still pretty young it would look weird if she would play a ten-year older self. So they choose Lili Simmons (you should know her from the TV series Banshee!) for playing the role.
For this video I included all the Catwoman scenes and 2 scenes with Selina Kyle.

As I just saw this last episode of the series two days ago. I am pretty sad that it is all over.
I had high hopes in that series. It delivered a lot. I hoped for a VERY long run to see Selina and Bruce grow into Catwoman and Batman.
And at the beginning of season 4 Selina put on a mask for two episodes. I hoped that would be the start of her transformation into Catwoman.
Well….yes and no. She nearly always had her black leather clothes and her claws on the gloves. But no more mask and no real Catwoman outfit.

On the good side this first real Catwoman appearance on the show did soften my pain of “parting” a little.
I’m a pretty uncritical guy…but…………….
This Catwoman outfit….well, it looks like they quickly put it together without much thinking or money.
This cowl/mask…. I guess it is no coincidence we don’t get to see it for a real close-up.
This visor on the cowl……MY GOD!!! That is not Catwoman!
No cat-ears??? WHY???? That is not Catwoman!
I guess they were so ashamed of that mask that they didn’t show it in a close up.
What is weird, she is never called Catwoman in the episode. Is that the reason her mask looks like that?
90% of the (at least solid) cosplayers can design a better Catwoman mask than this.

Ok, two things I do like regarding her mask. It does cover her face pretty well….and…with that 4 press buttons it is secured at least a little (unlike other masks that a child could just pull off with 2 fingers…).

Well, it was good there was this last episode with the real Catwoman…but that outfit is pretty different from any Catwoman outfit from the movies and comics. And the only thing that says “Catwoman” are the claws on these gloves.

Well, it seems he was a little drunk…but well, he is fooled verrrrry easily.
In my version there would be a nice struggle between them and he would try to unmask her (off course), but she would escape with the painting.
I posted a part of this scene years ago. It was too short and the picture quality was only 360p (not even DVD quality). Now I present the full scene in 720p.
We do have an art exhibit a sexy female investigator in a stunning dress and masked female art thief. Can she stop and unmask the art thief?

I do like her mask and her skills, but the struggling is way to short for my taste and we should have seen much more from her.
Sneaking around in that outfit would have been cool.
