In this one we have 3 masked burglars who wanna steal some weapons… but things go sideways.

One of them is a woman, and she will do something… quite… “special”

Well, I watched the bit with the unmasking several times and I’m still not sure what exactly happened… and WHY she did what she did.

Ok, it seems that she wants to put away the ammunition that was handed to her.

Seemingly she and the others didn’t have a bag or so for it… WHAT?

I guess she tries to put it into her suit, ok… that would work somehow.

But she has problems and yanks off her mask! WHY?!?

To use the mask as a bag? Or was the mask somehow annoying to her?

Hard to say… but she SCREWED UP big time! Her brain was totally on auto-pilot… to put it nicely.

I love her face when she realized what she had done and that the guy was now watching her exposed face!

She is screwed big time… the witness runs away and gets shot. Not very clever, but ok, I guess they most likely would killed him anyway.

So, her secret (identity) is intact again… but ironically the toilet guy then gets a glimpse of her unmasked face as well.

I don’t know why she didn’t put her mask back on again… but ok… she thinks there is no one else.

But that is always a very dangerous thing to think!

Keep your mask on… all the time… until you are 100% safe.

A rule many TV and movie burglars have problems following.

It is interesting how clean the clothes can be after a blood bath in an elevator 😆

Yeah, the two women are only in these masks for a short time and the unmasking is done rather bad.

But still…. it’s two hot women who are wearing a mask and a (creepy) helmet. Quite a combo!

Sadly, the two never wear those again and play only minor characters without further good scenes.

The assassins in a video of mine would be a lot more protective of their secret identities.

There would be a fight where the visor gets smashed and the helmet yanked off after a struggle.

And then the struggle for the mask would begin….. 😉

The female scuba diver who feeds fish… and the masked killer!

I have known about this one for ages, and I remember the scuba scene in the tank.

What I didn’t remember was… that the crazy killer was actually a woman! Thanks to a guy who recommended this one and gave that crucial information.

And that’s why I had to post it here.

Of course, I could have posted it on my other blog… because of the scuba scene.

But I think it fits much better here in this case.

We have a female scuba diver and a masked killer who has evil plans….

Yeah, the actual murder is pretty cheezy and cheap ….with some weird cuts and crappy music.

But there is a scuba scene … and a masked woman in one video… so I can’t complain that much 😉

It’s odd how the killer suddenly appeared from the locker and was outside making noise only some seconds earlier.

The scuba scene is short but a nice addition and unusual.

It’s also quite odd how she gets rid of her scuba gear and just drops it here and there… that is quite sloppy and careless of her 😆

In my version, the killer would have had a black wetsuit with a full hood and killed her underwater.

Even that would have worked only for this kill.

She does do some more killing throughout the movie but the video was already long enough and the other scenes don’t add that much.

The reveal is done pretty cool…. even a dramatic unmasking by someone else would have been cooler.

I included the scene where she puts on lipstick and then goes to the locker to pick up her mask to build up some tension.

I don’t understand why she is doing it, but it’s a good reveal when she unmasks herself.

It would have been so great if he had ripped it off as she was cursing and protesting.

I haven’t watched the full movie, but as it seems there isn’t another scene with a masked woman, but I will check more thoroughly.

The mask itself isn’t that attractive, but it’s a great disguise for sure in combination with the hood.

What do we have here? We have 4 women (incl. the getaway driver) who wanna rob a bunch of cash.

And they are wearing rubber masks and huge trenchcoats as disguises!

I really like how seriously they take their disguises!

Male rubber full-face masks, big padded trench coats, only very little dialogue.

I wanted to hide the fact that they are women, and I think that worked pretty well.

The unmasking in the back of the truck is well done, had to re-watch that scene sometimes as they unmask simultaneously 😉

Of course, I would have loved a fight or struggle with a guard, but no luck.

What I would give for a hand clawing into such a mask and ripping it wide open… exposing the face of the woman beneath.

This scene is the start of the movie, sadly there are no more scenes with them in masks later in the movie.

A masked villainess hijacks a plane to kidnap a woman

I knew about this movie for a long time, but I’ve never seen it… only some images/scenes.

Also, this one has already been recommended to me. I guess.

It was recommended again and this time I watched the whole movie.

Yeah, it’s not really good… no surprise, but at least it has one really good scene in it!

As you may know by now… I’m not the biggest fan of those “eye” masks.

But here, in combination with the leather cowl, it works.

The look is nice and it works well enough as a disguise.

I wonder how many of you realized that it was Catherine Zeta-Jones before she was unmasked?

And having a woman like her under that mask… is definitely a big bonus!

Certainly, the reveal is done really well even if the unmasking has progressed quite far until the camera is finally on her face… a common trope 🙁

Funny enough, the unmasking wouldn’t have been possible (like that) if Catherine hadn’t unstraped her chin strap beforehand.

I love how Catherine says: “Happy now? Get a good look?”

A nice addition to the unmasking 🙂

I like that Diana immediately goes for her mask and unmasks her, even though that is quite dangerous… after all the villainess has a pistol.

But she is curious enough… I like that, a good attitude 🙂

Lucky for her, evil Sala doesn’t really mind as her identity isn’t a real secret.

All in all…. a good scene!

Ok, let’s start with the things I love about this one.

Catwoman does get unmasked by the police and they immediately recognize her!

That is indeed awesome!

It’s not a (forced) self-masking but she gets unmasked by someone else and her secret identity is ruined.

That is very thrilling for me and I did make several cuts of this scene incl. a 2-second cut of the actual unmasking 😉

I know that is an iconic Catwoman outfit from the comics and it fits the style of the TV show.

Of course, you can say that her costume is completely…. insane and “unrealistic”.

I mean she shows off 95% of her legs and is wearing high heels… maybe not the best choice for a cat burglar 😉

Very flashy and even more impractical.

I do like the look, but I prefer a Catwoman in a full black suit and cowl.

And speaking of cowl… here her mask is more like a helmet as it isn’t secured by a chin strap.

And I certainly do HATE that!

The unmasking itself is animated well enough, but there a quite some aspects that I didn’t like about it.

It’s Catwomans first encounter with Batman and she immediately gets unmasked and arrested?!?! Well, her crime career here is quite an epic fail 😆

And it’s not the only time she gets arrested in this episode with around 25 minutes of runtime 🙁

She gets unmasked while being tied up… also rather uncool for me.

But worst of all: There isn’t a real reaction from her!

She gets unmasked and arrested by the police! That will kill her criminal career very early on.

And she looks as if she would get a parking ticket with a mixture of “slightly annoyed” and “slightly bored”?

That totally killed the possible impact of the situation.

No….. “NO, don’t do that!” … no pleading or a try to escape that unmasking?

She just looks like “Ah well, it was worth a try… tomorrow I will do something else….”

That is all quite annoying for me.

A great scene…. 🙂

…and also a really bad scene 🙁

Have seen 4 episodes of the show so far.

So far so good, will finish it in the next days.

Hopefully, another masked woman will show up… but I’m not counting on it.

Some time ago I read about this new show and the title already sounded promising.

Out of a hunch I investigated as I hoped to find a masked woman in this one… and I wasn’t disappointed 🙂

Thought about making a longer video… but it’s a new show so I had to end it there to increase the chance it could be on YouTube.

I love the tension building buildup towards the unmaskings 🙂

Obviously, the good ninja was expecting someone else under the mask, it would certainly be interesting to know.

I haven’t seen the whole episode or season yet, maybe I will.

The reveal of the masked evil woman was done really well as she slowly unmasks and then you see her creepy smile after the reveal 🙂

I like that both quickly put their masks back on, makes a lot of sense, especially with the villainess as that heavy mask also protects her face.

A nice bonus to have a third masked woman as well… even the colors of her outfit are quite ….uncool to say at least.

That scene is the highlight of the season when it comes to masked women… as far as I know.

But perhaps I find a little more if I watch the whole thing instead of skipping through it.

The episode title is “Mask Games”… wow, that’s a verrry promising title already.

As I read it I had especially high hopes for the episode… and well, I wasn’t disappointed 🙂

Yeah, it’s uncool that she is unconscious. But it’s not just the “ordinary” self-unmasking …and she gets unmasked in front of several witnesses!

Her secret is now completely ruined! Most of these folks didn’t even know that a woman was under that mask.

Out of those… only the male lead of the show knew.

The camera perspective isn’t so good as she gets unmasked, as the hand gets in the way and partly blocks the view.

Still… a good unmasking and I like that they added the “Zorro unmasked” extra shot.

A good example of that an unmasking is even more satisfying when it happens in episode 6 of a TV show.

I watched the whole movie as it is about a gang of 5 women who rob banks and cash trucks in their spare time 😉

And of course, they are masked 🙂

I cut out 2 short scenes (without masks, without action) so that the video would be a bit shorter. Hope it can stay on Youtube…

There is a short bank robbery at the beginning, where they are fully masked as well, but the audience doesn’t know that they are actually women.

They do a good job of hiding that.

Perhaps I will upload that scene as well in the future.

But then you have a whole movie about the traumatized female detective and some side plots that are all pretty uninteresting.

It then takes until the very end of the movie as they finally have another heist.

The masks are a very good disguise and I really enjoy the “mask talk”.

Since most of you don’t understand German, here is a translation for you folks:

The woman takes off her mask in front of the guard.

“Hey, have you ever thought that women would rob you?”

Other woman: “Are you nuts? Put the mask back on… NOW!”

“Come on Theresa, it is getting boring…”

“Put that mask back on!”

 

Damn, some sexy lines 😉

Also, I like the dark-toned music… quite a lot.

Also, I did enjoy that the guy managed to take down one of them.

I was so hoping that he would unmask her… but then he got shot… DAMN IT!

So, in the end, we only have 2 self unmaskings in that scene.

A lot of wasted potential… but certainly some good scenes in this one.

Quite a crazy shootout…

The ending has some spaghetti western vibes to it 😉

Yeah, her interpretation of being Zorro is rather …..unusual 😆

At this point in the story, she is more like a villainess than a heroine.

I really enjoy the scenes a lot where she is masked. It’s a good disguise (apart from the face paint she is also using without the mask) and besides her people and him, nobody knows who she is underneath that mask.

The secret identity is intact. But that might change in a future episode… 😉

The quick self-unmasking and re-masking here is also a nice treat in this one.

A villainess …hidden in bandages

This one is certainly a bit unusual… as I read about it at first I wasn’t thrilled, but then I watched the scene … and yeah, it’s pretty great!

Well, that is a great reveal of a villainess! And it’s no other than Gina Gershon (“Bound”)!

The music fits perfectly and Gershon plays it really well as she surprises her former protege who is now a media star.

I will watch the full episode the next days so I don’t know the full backstory… yet.

Looking forward to how the villainess gets caught in the end.

But it clearly seems that Vanessa (Gina Gershon) has some major issues with the famous doctor 😉

It’s quite a brutal kill, even it isn’t shown fully.

And we get a second unmasking as the victim …whose face is surprisingly intact… gets unmasked as well!

Yeah, these bandages aren’t a sexy mask… especially as you expect to see something … more or less…. gross when they come off.

But they provide a great disguise for sure.

Ok, well…. that sounded (much) better on paper… in my opinion.

First, the scene is very short.

Then you have verrrrry unfitting girl-pop music and weird slow-motion in it! WHYYYYY??????!!!???

Two really horrific choices 🙁

But…. on the good side, you have 3 women in gas masks (and a dude) who rob a bank! Great scenario 🙂

Certainly, this scene would also fit my Frogwoman.org blog as the gas masks are not only to keep their identity a secret but also they are needed as a breathing device against

the tear gas.

Also, I like the quick costume change (also much too quick) where they change from menacing bank robbers in gas masks to innocent women in seconds.

They are perfectly disguised with these jumpsuits and Kevlar vests. #goodjob

All in all…. this scene could have been much better with such a great scenario! Imagine a security guard or a cop grabbing for one of those gas masks!

Trying to unmask them in order to use the gas mask for himself/herself and thereby exposing that unmasked face to witnesses and/or cameras….

Sadly, they don’t appear again in those outfits later on in the episode.

Side note: Baywatch beauty Yasmine Bleeth is also in the episode… and she made it into some videos on my other blog.

The ultimate TV villainess ….whose name you don’t even know!

There won’t be a post tomorrow, since I am on a video shoot for my other blog Frogwoman.org.

But I wanted to make …at least… a quick post today:

Ever heard of Lee Sung Hi?

Well, I guess many of you recognize her when you see her face, but I bet nearly no one knows her name here… that has to change!

Yesterday I reached episode 20 as I am re-watching the whole Queen of Swords series.

I saw her in the episode and immediately thought that she looked very familiar….

That is Lee Sung Hi’s character after she battled the Queen of Swords and united with her against Colonel Montoya.

And yeah, Lee Sung Hi is also:

Lady Shiva from Birds of Prey!

The one who unmasks Batgirl, whose mask gets blasted off (?) early in the episode and unmasks herself at the end of the episode.

I checked her IMDB profile… and there is even another interesting appearance….

She also is…

… the braindead Gangsta Pranksta sidekick Giggles in Black Scorpion!

Queen of Swords, Black Scorpion, and that Birds of Prey episode with Batgirl are among my few ultimate TV highlights with masked women.

And until yesterday… I didn’t know that Lee Sung Hi was a villainess in ALL 3 shows! Even it was just for one episode in each of these shows…

(and she was tricked in Queen of Swords and not evil at the end)

So, she fought the Queen of Swords, Batgirl, and Black Scorpion! (not a challenge at all in that one).

What is better than one masked woman? Two masked women battling each other! 😉

The scene is pretty short but I love to see two masked women fighting against each other!

I guess in my version they would try to unmask each other to demonstrate who is superior… but this isn’t their last “meeting”.

I added the scene with the Captain and the Colonel as Tessa was in danger of getting caught at the house of Captain Grisham.

The danger of her being caught while spying in her civilian role… also very thrilling!

I also added a third short scene with the imposter and Colonel Montoya.

He caught her early on in the episode and can now basically blackmail her into doing anything for him.

And what does he do? He wants to have sex with her… and she can’t say no to that if she doesn’t wanna end up in prison!

And also, he puts her mask onto her face before the bed action can start!

That is verrrrry interesting!

Clearly, he has a special fantasy! He knows that she is just an imposter and not the real Queen of Swords.

But… he has some fantasies and she has to play the part….

He clearly has been fantasizing about doing that with the real Queen of Swords as well 😉
