Scarlett Johansson and some unmaskings

I saw this movie as the first movie in a cinema after the pandemic lockdown, so it was the first movie in a cinema after a break of over one year.

And normally I go at least 12 times in a usual year into a cinema.

This movie actually had some nice scenes for this blog, and it’s time I finally post about it!

(I edited the scenes to keep the video short)

Watch the video before you continue!

Hope you were surprised by these reveals, as I tried to spoil them as little as possible!

As I watched this for the first time I really enjoyed the surprise in not even knowing that the two were masked and had switched their roles.

Ok, I’m not a fan of these high-tech masks where there is some sort of layer on the skin that can display another face. Can’t imagine how this would actually work as the dimension of each face are so different, but ok let’s just accept that as it is.

I love how he figures out that the woman in front isn’t the “real” one and how she stops his first attempt at unmasking her.

A shame that she gives up so quickly.

These reveal would be even more interesting if they would wear “low-tech” rubber/silicone masks. Would be great to have a real fight/struggle were such a mask would slowly be ripped and torn off the face, exposing the real face underneath.

After the first reveal, the second one is no surprise as is …well…logical.

I was totally surprised to find Olga Kurylenko under that helmet! It was already a surprise that it was a woman in that armor the whole time and I didn’t know that she was into the movie.

And Olga K. has become a little fetish queen for me. Unmaskings, pantyhose scenes, scenes with oxygen masks or gas masks in several movies.

The evil, masked biker chick in black leather

That one is on my upload list for a while and it’s time to post this one!

This one features Jet Li VS some evil folks on motorcycles. And as you can guess, not all of them are men 😉

They all are wearing helmets with mirrored visors, so our evil biker chicks is fully concealed.

Yeah, not exactly a “traditional” unmasking, but I like the reveal.

It isn’t even clear to the audience that that biker is a woman, so the surprise is quite nice. Pretty sure that might be a man on the bike before she finally flew to the ground.

What I really don’t like is what happens after the reveal. He realizes it’s a woman he fighting and then he doesn’t want to fight her because he wouldn’t hit a woman.

What a sexist crap is that? Yeah, the movie is 20 years old, but damn, it’s just so disrespectful to her. She is a skilled fighter who wants to kill him and he doesn’t take her seriously.

And the whole thing to use the other woman to hit her….oh man. Silly, embarrassing comedy….in my opinion.

I cut the scene some seconds short to avoid problems with youtube. She falls on that metal bar and gets impaled what they show with a weird sort of (unbloody) x-ray animation as the metal thing goes through her heart.

Baby Yoda and the flying masked women

This post is about a scene that is rather very fresh since that episode was just shown 3 weeks ago.

Most of you should have heard about the blockbuster show The Mandalorian by now.

And now the TV show has “qualified” for this blog as well!

I cut the scene rather short to have it on Youtube, but even the barely 3 minutes were seemingly too “long” for Disney to allow it.

But where there are masked women….there is a way 😉

…sorry, had to remove it…..you are too late…

I do watch the Star Wars movies and this TV show, but honestly, I didn’t know the seemingly quite famous character.

The woman with the orange hair is Bo-Katan Kryze played by Katee Sackhoff.

As the lead character nearly never takes his helmet off (an important rule) I was quite surprised that they unmasked in front of him.

The helmets as masks aren’t exactly sexy for me, but as they completely conceal the face they are adding a very interesting aspect of mystery to the scene. You can clearly identify the two women as their shapes give it away…. luckily, contrary to the 4 masked female diamond thieves I presented in the last weeks.

But you don’t have any clue on who the woman under each helmet would look. A nice thrill for me 🙂

I didn’t know before the unmasking that Katee Sackhoff was under the helmet so it was a nice surprise for me.

There are more scenes with the two masked women in the episode, so you should check it out if you have the chance.

Ant-Man and the WASP – A new trailer, my special trailer version and pictures!

Time to make a post about my most anticipated “masked women” movie in 2018. The first trailer showed some great moments in Evangeline “Lost” Lilly in her new Wasp costume.

In addition to the costume she wears a helmet-type mask that conceals her identity pretty good.

But now a second trailer has arrived where we can see some scenes with Ghost, a masked villainess! So, we do have 2 masked women in one movie. Now I’m really looking forward to this one!!!

Let’s start with the new trailer:

Some pictures:

Well, it seems that we will see some unmaskings of the Wasp, as she runs around in her costume but without her helmet/mask in some scenes. I really hope for a forced unmasking or even better that Ghost may unmask her. But I guess that may be just wishful thinking. Don’t know if someone else could actually remove such a helmet?

You may have already noticed that Ghost herself is UNMASKED in the last two pictures as well! I really hope that she doesn’t unmask herself in front of the heroes…

But it will be very interesting how that mask and cowl will be removed. It seems that the cowl is attached to her suit. Oh man, the possibilities…..

Ant-Man and the Wasp will hit theaters on July 6th (USA) and on July 26th here in my country.

And here is my special version of the trailer with the really important scenes ;-):

What’s your opinion on the Trailer?

Will you be in the cinema to watch it?

For today I got a good action scene where a some “friendly biker” attacks our hero and his crew. And you’ll find out why that fits on this blog… 😉
