The “Nightwatchman” in action! – Scenes 1 + 2

So, what’s interesting about this “Nightwatchman” character in this TV show? And how it is relevant to this blog?

Well, what only some folks in the show will find out is…that this masked vigilante is actually a WOman. So the correct title would be NightwatchWOman 😉

I keep referring to her as the “Nightwatchman” because it is the name of the vigilante.

This one is actually one of the very best recommendations that were ever made to me! THANKS a LOT!

It will lead to an entry in the “Hall of Fame” in the next weeks 🙂

I somehow totally missed this TV show and in the end, the recommendation lead to me buying every three seasons of it on Blu-ray.

Each season has “only” 13 episodes but they greedily split each season into 2 blu-ray boxes with just 2 discs each. So I had to buy 6 Blu-ray boxes to get all 3 seasons.

But since the show isn’t new anymore…it wasn’t very expensive (besides the very last box).

This one is another perfect example while I love such characters in (long) TV shows. You really get connected to these characters and every scene has much more intensity for me than it would have if the character would just appear in some minutes during a random video. The character has much more depth and I am much more interested in what will happen to him/her throughout the show.

Yeah, it costs a lot of time to watch all these episodes, but it was more than worth it in the end. And not only for the Nightwatchman scenes, I enjoyed the whole show quite a lot…especially seasons 1 and 2.

In total, I have not fewer than 7 scenes with the Nightwatchman, today I wanna present the first two.

Yeah, not much to see her as we get only some glimpses on the Nightwatchman.

But it is her first appearance and her background is explained to Robin and us.

And the next scene will be verrrrry interesting 😉

Well…..where to begin?

Let’s start with the costume: At that time only very few sexy fabrics were invented/in use.

I think they make a LOT out of the available materials. I like her leather top that….if you get a good look…. clearly gives away that the Nightwatchman is a woman ;-), even she tries her best that no one notices that with her costume.

I LOVE that she really takes a great effort to hide her identity. Actually, her whole masquerade has 3 items! The hood hides her hair, the rather big eye mask is concealing her face alongside the scarf that covers the lower part of her face.

She has so much to lose if someone would figure out who she is, and she does everything she can to protect her secret identity. A+

If you have seen at least one of the 3652 (or so) Robin Hood movies…you know that Marian is his big love. And that makes his reaction to the unmasking so pleasing to me.

He thinks the Nightwatchman is some kind of murderer (“he” is not) and finds Marian under these masks…. I love such a constellation!

The unmasking is filmed quite….odd. He pulls back her hood …but then she quickly decides to unmask herself completely. Well, it makes sense as they know and love each other (most of the time). As she realizes that there is no escape for her, she rather unmasks herself than letting him do it.

I would have rather preferred her to defend her mask and to put up a fight in a scene before he pins her to the ground, but well she will have some thrilling fights with others ;-).

And this was only the beginning…soon the evil “Guy of Gisborne” will try everything to stop the Nightwatchman.

Guy is also in love with Marian….. and really HATES the Nightwatchman at the same time.

Again…I LOVE such constellations! 😉

The masked female revolutionist….gets….UNMASKED!

Last week I posted these scenes in which a masked female revolutionist unmasks herself…twice as she is wearing two masks(!).

In the meantime I watched the remaining episodes of the season and…..well…..the BEST scene was shown in the last episode of the season!

As the title of this post suggests she gets UNMASKED, this time by an evil henchman!

That’s how you do an unmasking! This short scene is my “unmasking highlight 2020” when it comes to TV shows and movies.

Ok, her leather mask does only cover on half of her face…but it covers more then most of the eye masks that heroines often are wearing.

And many things are done really good in this one:

She isn’t tied up, she can fight back. But he pushes her against the wall, using the oportunity immediately to to grab onto her mask. Finally a bad guy who actually wants to unmask the heroine….and he does it at the first chance he gets. For a moment she is stunned and he swiftly pulls hard on her mask. One of the two leather straps …..which holds her mask in place…. rips and he yanks the mask away from her, tossing it to the ground. Thereby he doesn’t only unmask her but even damaging her mask so she can’t put it on again. She later flees from the fight with others….still unmasked.

Yeah, the bog scar under the mask isn’t that attractive…but as I told in the post last week….she got it as bad guys punished her.

Also I like her reaction to it. She is furious as the mask comes off and all her anger is showing immediately.

Of course this scene is even more intense if you have watched the whole TV show before….

*EDIT* I forgot to mention this: Yeah, her mask doesn’t give her a secret identity, everyone knows who she is, it is like I said last week, a mask that hides the scar (like in Phantom of the Opera), but that doesn’t really change my liking about the unmasking.

I really love this scene as it shows something very rare.

I wish that season 2 of the Batwoman TV show would include a scene such as this one! Or an unmasking attempt during a fight….that would be awesome!

The masked female revolutionist

I watched this new french Netflix TV show and stumpled upon a masked female revolutionist. 🙂

And actually in one scene, she even wears two masks!

But let’s start with some pictures…

I guess you have realised that this is a german dubbed version.

I watch most of the TV shows in original english audio. But as I said this show is french, so I watched the german dubbed version as it wouldn’t make sense for me to watch the english dub of a french TV show 😉

However the really interesting parts of this video can be understand without any language.

For dramatic purposes I re-arranged the scenes as the scene in the prison is set AFTER the one in the cave in the TV show. This way you could see her with her two masks first and then have the “full” unmasking for the end.

Quite an extraordinary “mask setting”. One mask to disguise her as a plague doctor and one to cover up the scars caused by a villain who carved them into her face when she was younger.

Her half mask which basically covers only one half of her face reminds me on the phantom of the opera who was wearing a mask like that for similar resasons.

This is set some year before 1800 so there are only few material available for a mask. I really like her leather mask. Would be a great mask for a vigilante in the “full version”.

Villainess in red leather VS Supah Ninjas!

I didn’t have the chance to watch the (shorter) season 2 of this show but this will be my last post from season 1.

In this one, we have a villainess in red leather and an eye mask to fight the Supah Ninjas!

As you should know by now I’m not the biggest fan of eye masks, but this one is pretty good as I like the material (leather) and shape of it.

Also, the scene where she has the female ninja at her mercy is quite sexy. Damn, I wish she would have been curious to see who is underneath that ninja mask.

An “unmasking-duel” between those two would have been the proper ending for the episode in my opinion 😉

But I really like the last scene here, having two masked women like these two fightings each other….. is always interesting to watch!

A masked female vampire unmasks herself! — incl. a “celebrity reveal”

The last post for 2019!

In this one we have a real celebrity hiding underneath a very unusual mask. You most certainly will be surprised by the reveal 😉

Finally watched a certain season of a certain TV show and found two great scenes for this blog.

In this scene one guy attacks some blood sucking vampires. One of them is fully masked (because of the dangerous sun that was still up earlier).

Well, wasn’t that a really nice surprise?

The masked vampire is played by ….Demi Lovato!

I love her facial expresssion after the unmasking 😉

Her mask is pretty interesting! Never seen such a combination of a leather hood/piece in combination with net-cloth.

Such a mask would be perfect for a long unmasking struggle! In my version she would have a secret identity.

The guy attacks her from behind and would rip the net-cloth more and more until her mouth is fully revealed. The unmasking would continue and he would slowly manage to pull the complete mask off her face while she desperate attempts to stop him.

The masked, female killer in latex /vinyl….and Dolph – Scene 1 (of 2)

For this week I have a nice mysterious masked (with 2(!) masks actually) woman in red latex!

Storyline: Dolph, the swede (the country, not the vegetable 😉 ) looks for the killer of his brother, who was killed by that sexy masked killer, and now Dolph wants revenge!

He tries to track her down, but gets badly beaten up before the scene in the video. And now he is helpless and she is approaching.

Well, that’s a sexy killer! She looks great in that outfit.

And the fact that she wears 2 masks….really sexy. She really wants to hide her identity behind that red full latex mask and the red leather mask. Who is hiding under these masks?

And that scene won’t be the only scene they meet!

Stay tuned for scene 2. That scene is longer and has a pretty good ending 😉

Until then I won’t tell the name of the movie. A little mystery!
