I am watching this new season every week now, and found some interesting scenes in it 🙂

The scene is quite short, so I will throw in 2 more videos here on the blog post.

This scene drives me mad big time… but it’s also very interesting! 🙂

Ok, the (evil) anti-vigilante guys are looking for Karen Page, so she only goes into public areas with a wig and often sunglasses.

Here she is wearing her wig and a mask… like many other protesters, so she blends in fine.

Her disguise is very good, and no one would recognize her.

But then things fall quickly apart.

For no (obvious) reason, she pulls down her mask for the first time… maybe the old… “we can’t show our lead actress masked for too many seconds” trope again. 🙁

Or her character is careless like hell…. or both. 🙁

Then she pulls her mask back on again, but then pulls it off again for no reason.

At first, I thought a cop/anti-vigilante task force guy would yank her wig off, but no.

That seems to be some protester with a gas mask… but not entirely sure.

But what is happening there? Is she in the way? He pushes her and grabs her (false) hair.

He rips the wig off and is gone.

That seems so weird. So he ripped her wig off by accident and just ran off? Why did he grab her hair? Seems so very odd for some reasons.

Or was it on purpose? But why? And how did he know it was a wig?

However, it’s a great reveal when she is now fully exposed without her mask and wig.

It’s weird that she doesn’t put her mask back on, as that is still easily available to her.

But ok, she cares more about her friend who got knocked down.

Therefore, a leader of the anti-vigilante task force is recognizing her immediately.

A nice cliffhanger at the end of the episode 🙂

It drives me mad how poorly she manages to keep her face hidden in this.

2 self-unmaskings for no reason, and then her wig gets ripped off, and she fails to react to that.

Still a very interesting scene.

Yeah, she is a reporter in the underground who portrays the criminal mayor of New York, Wilson Fisk, who is a gangster boss in the first place.

She is perfectly disguised with that massive rubber mask.

Damn, how much I would love it if the bad guys would storm into the studio and rip that mask apart in front of the camera….. 😉

But still a great “imagine if” moment as the unmasking is done quite well.

If a woman had been under that cool mask… it would have made a “Hall of Fame” -unmasking.

What is better than a scene with a masked woman?

A scene with 2 masked women who are fighting each other! 🙂

I love that the imposter fools Catwoman for a second, but she quickly gets suspicious and realizes that this imposter is fully masked to impersonate a very close friend of hers.

I’m not a big fan of the Catwoman costume and that mask… which is quite close to the crazy Catwoman movie…

That mask can be removed way too easily, as we have seen in earlier episodes of “Masks off” 😉

But at least it’s a cowl and not an eye mask.

The unmasking is a little too quick for my taste, but it’s a “real” unmasking as someone else pulls off her mask.

Way too often, we get lame self-unmaskings, so this is always a welcome change.

I love the 2 extra pages, which show Black Mask and all the masks in the background.

Looking forward to the next Catwoman comic, even though he might not try to fool her again like that.

Yeah, quite a mixed bag this one.

There is the language issue…well, for most of us.

I love that she takes her disguise very seriously. The face is completely hidden by the mask (except the eyes), and she even wears a hood as an additional “layer”.

The costume is very…. well… practical and lacks any sexiness. Same for the mask.

She does have some interesting scenes in this one for sure. She is held at gunpoint, always thrilling.

One self-unmasking and re-masking. You could say that she isn’t fully unmasked… but for me it certainly counts as you can see the full face.

And then she has a weird kiss as well 😆

So, does he just kiss her on the plastic mask? That must taste quite bad…

Or does he get his tongue in that small opening of her mask? Which would also be quite…. odd.

I don’t know if these two know who is under the other’s mask, as I don’t have the context, as I don’t fully watch movies or TV shows without understanding the language at all.

But certainly some interesting stuff in this one… in my opinion.

A nice guy provided some info:

The Show name is อินทรีแดง (pronounced IN-SEE-DAENG or something, I am not an expert in transliteration) – The Red Mask, a crime-fighting vigilante who wears a red eagle mask. On this scene. The hero (the guy in red mask) did not aware who is in the black mask (female lead who goes by the psedonym Black Rose) and in the kiss scene is they are being chased and hide in that spot and the pursuer happened to do a body search and push that hiding spot so they accidentally kiss, again the hero still did not aware who is in the black mask and did not even aware that the one in the black mask is a woman (she use a formal male pronounce, a Thai language thing, while wearing that mask to identify herself). The drama is trying to frame this scene as a romantic accidental kiss between the male and female lead, from my understanding.

Perhaps they were ashamed of the mask… I don’t know 😉

I really love her costume… quite a sexy combo!

Her mask does a good job of totally concealing her identity.

Sadly, the weird combo of that cheap 1$ white plastic mask + the lace cover…. looks really bad!

I mean, come on!!! Who said ok to this during the movie production? I guess they only had 10$ left as they “designed” that mask-combo 😆

The movie is quite trashy… but damn, it’s sexy! And that’s certainly enough in this case!

I stumbled upon it by accident as I saw the movie poster on a site.

And damn… I didn’t regret watching the whole thing 🙂

I also got the Blu-ray as soon as it was available here.

Sadly, the killer has only very little screentime, and her secret identity isn’t really a secret to the audience from the start.

I wish the killer had had a real struggle with anyone while still wearing her mask. And then just put a latex mask on her. That can be done for little money.

Then have some fights with her and someone who would try to unmask her. Or even be successful with that… ripping the mask of the killer wide open!

Ok, enough fantasy for today…

Yeah, a lot of wasted potential in this movie… but it has some hot women and a crazy, masked, female killer… certainly worth a watch (or a few)!

These are the first appearances of Serpentik in the movie.

She is the arch-nemesis of the hero. He wants to get her, he wants to unmask her.

She hides behind her mask… and even the face behind the mask… is a mask!

He is obsessed with her… which I can totally understand! 😉

It’s a bit odd that she doesn’t wear her usual mask in the bar. The audience (and all of those in the bar) thinks that she is fighting unmasked… but we see that she is actually wearing a face mask.

And not only one!?! But we will come to that later….

This scene is the most violent scene the movie has to offer, and damn… she is really killing those goons right and left!

Her arsenal is quite something. Deadly heels, razor-sharp claws, and little hooks in her hair(!).

Kind of a very violent/over-the-top Catwoman.

I love the twist and the end as she is laughing while ripping off her mask. A very sexy scene!

And even that face is just one of many…

By the way: Her leather catsuit is ….well…. AWESOME!

I will make at least one more post about this already legendary movie!

Yeah, certainly a scene you won’t see every day.

A hot, masked lady in a nice outfit who strips in front of a crowd…. and even unmasks herself!

The unmasking itself could have been done much better.

Would have been great if her face had faced the camera, and she then would have played with her mask.

Yanking on it gently… pulling it off a bit… pulling it back in place… teasing the crowd.

And then she would finally yank it off… revealing herself.

I don’t know why she didn’t spot these guys in the crowd before her unmasking.

But perhaps she was just so occupied by her own performance.

All in all, a good scene for sure!

A masked female burglar in a heist scene from a German Soap Opera

For those who don’t speak German: He was working with the police to catch these criminals.

Earlier in the video, they discuss why he didn’t switch off every alarm. There was a backup system that he didn’t know about.

A shame that it’s hard to see her in the mask at first, as the scenes are very dark.

It’s nice that she gets caught and unmasked by the police. Odd that they don’t fully unmask her, and the mask stays on the top of the head.

All in all… a good scene in my opinion.

Yeah, some nice martial art scenes and 2 more unmaskings of her… and one isn’t the usual self-unmasking 🙂

I do like these scenes, and her disguise is solid.

Sadly, as I don’t understand the language, I can’t watch the (full) show to get fully invested in these characters.

The unmasking in the fight is not very realistic, as the mask gets destroyed way too easily, and she gets just a tiny scratch… but ok, at least that.

It’s rare to see a mask get destroyed like that in a fight, so I’m happy with it.

Her role itself is pretty weird. I mean, I have seen her masked in 3 fight scenes, and she has lost every time.

So, it makes a lot of sense that she dies as she couldn’t run away this time.

A Catwoman in the garden and a masked female thief at night

Sadly, the picture quality is rather bad… but it’s a rather rare TV show from the 90s, so you won’t find DVD or Blu-ray quality in such a case 🙁

Also, both scenes are quite short, especially the 2nd one, where you basically don’t get a single good look at the masked woman.

But enough complaining… I especially love the first scene! I mean, a wheel-flipping Catwoman in such a suit and mask? In the garden? In broad daylight?

Well, he is one lucky bastard! I wouldn’t mind being “attacked” like that….

The mask doesn’t really work for her as he quickly finds out who she is… yeah, the cowl isn’t a great disguise, but she certainly looks great in the suit and mask!

I highly suspect that is a stuntwoman in the suit at first… great job!

Also, a nice reveal when the mask comes off, even though there is a cut after she reaches for it.

I don’t know the reason why she is running around like that… will have to see the whole episode.

I guess she was practicing and wanted to get the role in a movie.

The second scene is a nice addition, even though it’s a shame the masked thief wasn’t shown properly at all.

You just see a masked figure running away from the guy, and she immediately gets unmasked… which isn’t shown properly as well.

Still, a masked female thief gets chased and unmasked… so I am glad the scene is in the episode.

In the end, it’s quite a smashing episode if you have 2 scenes like that in it 🙂

A first glimpse on the Maskripper movie of the year 2025

I have bad news, and I have good news!

The bad news is that there won’t be a post on Sunday as I am away.

This one got a limited release here in Germany, and I tried to watch it in the cinema in early October.

It took several weeks till it finally got released here in my town in a rather small cinema.

I watched it and was …quite… flashed… to say at least.

As a first appetizer… I made this video that includes a short scene from the movie:

A masked female killer in a weird red full face mask…. and a bizarre ending

This one was recommended to me just this week, and I somehow wanted to post about it.

This is an interesting one, and a strange one for sure.

It has an evil woman in a full mask in it….

I had to edit the scene a bit to make it YouTube-friendly.

The woman with the torch falls down, and the torch sets her hair on fire.

She doesn’t do much about it, and her head gets completely burned….. WTF!

The woman in the red mask is in several scenes of the movie… doing evil things… and finishing off some folks.

These scenes would often be problematic for YouTube as well.

But a bigger problem for me is… that I am 99,9% sure that they used a guy in that costume for basically all the scenes until the unmasking.

If I think a guy is in that costume, it’s very unsexy to me… even the masked figure is supposed to be a woman.

I mean, check the figure of the masked killer, it seems clearly male. Worst of all, you can see the hair/hairline very well as the material of the mask isn’t opaque (enough).

And I am sure you can see sideburns… so, a rather clear hint 😉

Sadly, it was a common practice back in the day to often use a stuntMAN for certain action scenes with women. (as stuntwomen were scarce)

But I mean, in that scene in that room… why use a guy there? There is basically nothing happening there!

Especially as the mask is giving it away that there is a man under that mask.

How did they think that no one would notice?

Luckily, times have changed in that regard.

The mask itself is a solid disguise, despite the not-opaque enough aspect.

The black markings around the mouth and eyes are rather uncool here.

Still, it’s a nice reveal when the mask gets pulled off…. even that could have been done much better.

The whole chase is a bit comedic with the way they stumble around the countryside 😆

It’s an interesting scene as he rips a part of her pants out and finds the piece of her pantyhose that he ripped also away from her.

Not exactly sure why she is wearing a pantyhose under her weirdo-killer outfit… but ok.

Perhaps they used a man in the costume the whole time to fool the audience, and that they would then be surprised at this hint?

Questions over questions!

But in the end, a weird and interesting scene… 🙂

Well, that is quite a bizarre mask!

Is it supposed to frighten the opponents? Is it for protection? Is it to conceal her identity?

I would say only the first aspect might really work here.

It can’t be for protection, as she unmasks as soon as she really gets into a fight.

It can’t be for concealing her identity… for the same reason. Unless… these folks already know her secret identity, and that’s why she takes it off there?

Would love to know more about her, but I only know the scenes from the video.

The original video is on Youtube as well. I just edited it and made it about two minutes shorter (scenes without her).

Ok, back to her mask. I like that it disguises her really well… it’s really unusual, that’s cool as well.

I don’t like the see-through parts and all the metal buttons, but ok.

It’s a shame that she takes the mask off on her own.

It would have been great if she had protected a real secret identity with it and the guys would try to unmask her.

The catsuit is a nice bonus 🙂

Damn, these magic…. things…. really screw up her mask big time!

Her mask is perfect for such mask damage scenes, as it fully covers her face, and the material seems quite thin.

I love that she then pulls off a reserve mask to cover her face again, she is well prepared 🙂

Also, as a bonus, she then removes the lower part of her mask by pulling it up… and then pulls it back again.

I appreciate that she doesn’t (fully) unmask herself even when she is safe with these guys.

She stays in character and keeps her mask on, very good!

Quite some mask action for just a few pages!

A great comic book 🙂

2 masked (female) Luchadoras in a fight (incl. mask damage and an unmasking!)

This one was recommended to me about a month ago. Thanks again for recommending it!

We have two masked female Luchadoras in an epic battle.

I tried to post a longer version on YouTube, but it was blocked until I made two more edits, and the video was under 3 minutes.

The fight between the two is MUCH longer, but I had to cut it down to make a video that YouTube would accept.

So I focus my video on the two highlights of the fight 😉

Damn, especially the first scene is really sexy! Two masked women fighting each other in public, already a great setting.

I love how the villainess grabs into her mask and starts ripping it… certainly a rare treat 🙂

Damn that manager who stops her from doing that!

And then that guy even cheats, which leads to the defeat of the good girl.

There is a little cut in the unmasking process, as the camera focuses on the audience, and afterward, the mask is already much looser, and she can unmask her easily.

Still a great reveal, especially with the reactions of the “heroine” and the audience.

I also love how the evil girl enjoys all of that!

The costumes and masks are quite cool, especially the mask of the heroine that hides “enough” and is secured well.

The mask of the evil girl seems not secured enough without a chin strap. With all that rolling around, it might fall out way too easily…

Guess they cheated as they filmed it… and/or her mask is secured in a creative way.

I will watch the whole season of the show to get the full picture…

I’m not the biggest fan of wrestling (and its other versions), with all its “fakeness” but if you have masked ladies in it as here… I am certainly interested! 😉

To enjoy this scene even more, I want to get the full history of it, especially get to know how much secret identity struggle is actually involved.

Perhaps I will then make more posts about this show…

Yeah, two quick self-unmaskings in this one. Nothing great, but at least there are unmaskings in this one.

And I like the short peril scene where she grabs onto her mask… and surprisingly doesn’t unmask. Well done! She stays masked 🙂

Since she is a good person, brainwashed to be an evil cartel boss… I wonder why the good guys never get close and try to unmask her.

Would be the perfect setup for a big reveal. Don’t know if anyone besides the guy who got her the mask knows who she is.

A dramatic unmasking struggle would have been great (as always), and/or some mask damage where more of her face would have been revealed.
