The next crossover of the Arrowverse will introduce….BATWOMAN (and Gotham)!!!!

WOW, that’s so FUCKING GREAT! ?
Short version: In the next crossover event of the CW shows (The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow) Batwoman AND Gotham City will be introduced!!!! That will be aired in december.
That will bring up great possibilities in the future.:
Perhaps characters like Catwoman and Batgirl as well? Perhaps an own Batwoman Show?

Oh man, this news makes me happy….very, very happy!
I hope they don’t screw up the costume. I want that Batwoman mask from the comics. A big mask that hides her little secret perfectly.
Well, since her mask wasn’t changed in the years in the comics, I hope they just took that version.

Black Canary trapped and in big danger! [Arrow TV-series]

In this one (the new) Black Canary is in deep trouble! And not only her…her boyfriend is the target of Black Siren and evil mastermind Cayden James.

Can she save him? Can she escape from this?

New masked women in Supergirl and Flash!

More masked women on the horizon!

In Supergirl we will get a villainess called Reign, and in a Supergirl/Flash/Arrow crossover we will get an evil version of Supergirl called Overgirl.

Superhero tv-shows and their problem with masked women

Time for some rant! I saw episode 3 of the new arrow season and I was disappointed. Than I saw the preview for episode 4 of the new flash season and I was disapointed (again)… not that the episode or the preview sucked, no, that wasn’t the problem.

[minor SPOILERS ahead]

But this is:

Damn it!

The flash has a real mask, a rubber cowl that provide some real cover and hides his identity quite well. And it can provide a great unmasking (which it did already)! An unmasking were you NOT just pull off the mask with two fingers. For this mask you need to rip it, to tear it. His mask is even connected to his suit. It’s a great design!

But as always in the new tv-shows flash and arrow, the women doesn’t get such a mask. No!

The canary, the huntress, the black canary, and all the other masked woman (except ravager) wear eye masks. And catwoman in TDKR too 🙁 .

The 2 canaries had at least “big” versions  that hide some parts of the face. And the (first) canary wore a wig in addition. That was a nice combination to hide her secret.

But why do you put on such a mask as the new girl from “team green arrow”? (left picture) It’s moronic!!!

I guess it’s the old: “She’s a pretty girl, let’s present her face and give her a mask that hides NOTHING!” – idea from the producers. If you love women with masks and their unmaskings…it is so frustrating!!!

Well, I love these shows and the fact that they are quite a lot of masked women in it lately. But it would be so much better with some real masks!

Because such tiny eye masks….what are they for? They hide noting, provide no safety at all and are not sexy.

But enough from me, what’s your opinion on this?

Black Canary unmasked!

Well, actually it should be: “Imposter Black Canary” unmasked 😉

In this episode we have an imposter black canary that wanna kill some guy. But Thea won’t let that happen and wanna know who that impost is under the mask (not the canary design, but thea’s)

Arrow – Another masked woman! Hawkgirl! (Flash, Legends of Tomorrow)

Another masked woman will appear in my hall of fame tv-series Arrow! She will be a member of the new show “Legends of Tomorrow”, but also appear in Flash and Arrow.

Arrow – Ravager unmasked

To celebrate the new entry in Maskrippers Hall of Fame I have another unmasking!

I was really thrilled the first time as I saw Ravager on the Arrow tv-series. Her rubber mask covers a lot of her face. And it really looks well secured to prevent a fast unmasking.

But of course if you are the director of this episode you can cheat….. cheat big time 🙁

WTF? I was really disappointed by the unmasking. But Summer Glau’s surprised and unmasked face is great!

And not to forget: There are 3 (!!!) masked women battling each other (2 VS 1) in this scene! How great is that??????

Arrow – Huntress VS Black Canary!!! – Two Rounds

Hey folks, time for some serious female fighting! In latest episode of Arrow there was a lot of scenes with masked female women. The Huntress is the naughty villainess and the Black Canary with with Arrow on the good side. So we have two masked girls in this episode. It was great.

I edited together a video with all the scenes of the Huntress and Black Canary. BUT, that was blocked by youtube right away... 🙁

So, you can see at least the two fight scenes in two videos:
