Sorry, due to some technical difficulties 1080p+English isn’t available for this blog right now (just for this scene).
But I’m sure you can live with it well.

WATCH the video before you go on!
Well, that was a pretty close call for the Nightwatchman!
I love how he demands her to unmask herself! Luckily she won’t give up easily.
It’s great how the situation even gets more dangerous for her as the Sheriff sneaks up on her and holding his pretty big dagger to her throat. His diabolical smile…. is awesome!
Now she is really in big danger, every second a hand could reach for her masks and begin to UNMASK her.
I just love the tension in such scenes….really well done here!
In my version, a hand would actually start to yank on her mask but she would then escape the danger quickly.
–
I do have one more scene with the Nightwatchman…..and that is the best one, you might imagine why 😉
Well, I could pretty much copy and paste my words from the review of episode 2.
In episode 1 we got less than 3 minutes of Stargirl and her team, without any action.
In episode 2 we got no masked woman on screen at all.
In episode 3 we got over 6 minutes with the team and at least action for half a minute.
In episode 4…..there are….23….seconds(!!) of Stargirl in it as she is prepping to leave her home. Yeah, that’s right, 23 seconds. 🙁
So far season 2 of STARGIRL had very, very, very little Stargirl (or Wildcat) in it.
Again the episode is interesting and I really like how the story is going in general.
What I don’t like is again that Stargirl and her team basically don’t have secret identities.
Spoilers ahead!
The Shade knows immediately who Stargirl is, most likely to the brilliant move that her father showed up with the team as they meet.
The Tigress and Crusher escape from prison and they know since the end of season 1 who is under these masks.
Sometimes I don’t know why they even are wearing these masks. So far we saw no interactions at all with any civilians who basically don’t know that they exist(?).
And all the villains learn their “not so secret”-secret identities really quick. 🙁
I wish that Stargirl and Co would have some random bad guys to beat up who at least wouldn’t know who they are.
–
I do like how Cindy is building up a team of villains, a new Injustice Society. Will be interesting to see how the different evil parties will interact with each other. Hard to say what the plan of the Shade really is.
The trailer for the next episode is actually really promising and shows only scenes with Stargirl and the others!
….so as I am a little disappointed so far….I’m pretty hyped for the next episode!
Things finally seem to start rolling in the action department. 🙂

Marshall Virtue posted this video, he is a/the stunt coordinator of the Batwoman show.
In this great video, you can see the pre-visualization of some stunts from seasons 1 and 2:
It was already clearly “hinted” in the last episode of season 2 that Poison Ivy may appear in the upcoming season, now we got the news that an actress has been chosen for the role!
So, it’s no secret anymore that Poison Ivy indeed will show up and will be among the villains of the season.
I have seen her in “The last ship” and “Agent Carter” but honestly can’t remember her part in it since these shows are some years old by now and only watched them once.
But I’m looking forward to seeing how she will play the part. I’m happy that she is playing a grown-up version of Ivy, unlike the one we got in the Gotham series.
–
And we got a trailer for the DC FanDome (October 16):
Batwoman is also in the lineup and I expect some interesting interviews or footage from season 3.
This year the FanDome event is actually placed after the start of the Batwoman season (October 13), but I hope they will save some great news for the FanDome.
Also looking forward to seeing hopefully more from Catwoman in new “The Batman” footage and to get more info on “Gotham Knights” the video game.
Time for another scene with the Nightwatchman in action!
I intended to post 2 scenes today…but the 2nd one was problematic. The audio switched to german every time, even I selected to use the English one.
Even there isn’t much dialogue in this scene, I want the damn program to work and that you all can watch the scene with English dialogue for the best experience.
But, don’t worry, I will upload scene 6 next Thursday, so you won’t have to wait for long.
And the BIG, last scene 7 will then follow on a weekend.
Preview:
Time to put on these masks again!
Trapped!
And the evil Guy of Gisborne just outside the door!
I really like this scene big time! By this time I care about her in the show a lot and really rooting for her. She gets trapped in that room, the evil Guy of Gisborne is just outside the door, breaking it down pretty quickly. With the axe and the damaged doors he somehow reminds me a lot of a certain Jack N. in “The Shining” 😉 , especially as he is watching her through the damaged door.
You can see the fear on her face, she is breathing heavily through the cloth cover above her mouth. She now she can’t escape….he is outside the door and there are plenty of guards there as well.
A great setting!
As soon they rush in they would overpower her sooner or later and then would UNMASK her! Her life as well as her father’s life would be in grave danger as the Nightwatchman is a big enemy of the Sheriff. He would also find the woman that he loves under the mask….but she is in love with someone else…..
The way he sneakily attacks her with that dagger….wow….worthy of a real villain.
Of course, she survives that in the end, even she actually seemingly dies.
But that was revealed one episode later….providing a major cliffhanger.
As I already knew she would be in season 2….I wasn’t surprised….but imagining watching the show back then when it first aired….they surely tortured the audience quite well. 😉
I made an update on the Batwoman post below this one, check it out!
–
So, time to talk about episode 3 of Stargirl (season 2)!
After very little of Stargirl and her team in episode 1 and no scenes with them at all in episode 2….we FINALLY get a solid screentime with the masked ladies!
And we get some action and peril as well….but check out my 2 videos first!

Time to face a….
….evil dude!
Trouble!

I really like The Shade as a villain so far….we know not much about him yet, but I like his style. And he surely seems to be pretty powerful that he could easily defeat the whole team.
They will have to find ways to defeat him…..and he won’t be the only villain they have to face.
The episode was pretty good, I could go without the whole magic pen and the Thunderbolt figure….but ok, I guess that might be an important factor later on when the bad guys wanna win him over to the dark side 😉
I read that this season will get pretty dark and I’m excited about it. I want the team to get tested to their limits and I prefer the dark(er) shows anyhow.
Of course, if I would be him and would have pinned them down like that….I might use these powers to yank their masks off as I am verrrry curious 😉
But on the other hand, it’s good to have a villain here that doesn’t know their secret identities from the start, I do hope that it stays like that for a while.
Perhaps later on he wants to find out who is behind these masks….and then PLEASE…..by removing their masks and not by some silly discovery as it happens WAY too often.
Or how about he attempting to unmask Stargirl or Wildcat? That would be quite awesome as well 😉
Looking forward to seeing how the plot unfolds. So far, we practically can only guess what the evil plan of the villains will be and how it all connects.
But with this episode…the season has really started for me!
Well, some weeks ago I didn’t think I would make a third post about this TV show and this murderous Rubberwoman (official title, it’s actually latex)….but here we are.
After the Rubberwoman appeared in the first two episodes of the show, the show continued as an anthology show, each episode had different characters and different storylines.
But now in episode 7….the Rubberwoman returns alongside some familiar characters!
She doesn’t get a lot of screentime….but she has two nice scenes that I wanna present here.
Preview:
She is back!
Damn! 🙂
A hand in latex on her shoulder? Someone else has the suit!

–
And here is the video:
–
Yeah, she isn’t masked for very long, but I LOVE two things about these scenes:
First the kiss with her hot girlfriend that kisses her passionately on the gag (right term?). Very sexy!
Love how her hands are on the sides of the mask while they kiss.
Also, the scene where she is laying in bed and then suddenly that latex hand appears is a nice surprise to see her girlfriend dressed up like this!
Even it’s a shame we didn’t get to see more of her as we only get that one side angle, but ok… still a really nice ending and her girlfriend looks awesome in that suit 🙂
I really like the overall storyline of this episode with the woman trying to make a video game about the murder house. Also, it was great to have some video game scenes in the intro of the episode.
I doubt we will see these two again on the show in these roles….but well, that’s what I said some weeks earlier after episode 2.
Finally, season 2 of Stargirl has now started and I wanna make my short review of episode 1!

The bad guys have been defeated at the end of season 1 and are either dead, in prison, or missing.
Much like this entire episode, things are rather quiet now in Blue Valley.
Stargirl, Wildcat, Hourman, and Dr. Midnite are still patrolling the streets at night but there is nothing to do at all and all (except Stargirl) wanna take a break from superhero life.
The episode focuses on building around the personal problem of each of them.
Courtney (Stargirl) is so focused on being Stargirl and finding other ISA members that she fails at school.
Yolanda (Wildcat) is haunted by the death of Brainwave who she killed in the season 1 finale. But she can’t speak to anyone (outside the JSA) about it as that would endanger her secret identity.
Beth (Dr. Midnite) finds out that her parents are seeking a divorce and is troubled by not being able to interact with Charles, the AI from her goggles.
Rick (Hourman) is occupied with providing food to Solomon Grundy who is living in the woods now.
Building these backstories to the characters is important and I liked them except the one with Rick as I don’t understand why he is now caring about the monster that killed his parents. Yeah, he saw a “good” site on Solomon in the season 1 finale…but it’s still hard to believe how he changed from wanting to kill him to now providing buckets of chicken for him.
I love how passionate Courtney is about being Stargirl. She fully embraces her role.
Maybe a little too much…. as her school and social life comes too short.
There is very little action in this one….but well, it’s a typical first episode to a season.
Green Lantern’s daughter Jade has her first appearance in the only real action scene. So far hard to tell, how big her role will be.
I hope she will be a good addition to the good side. Of course, I also hope that her costume will include a mask….but we will see.
So, in terms of action or peril, the episode delivers very, very little. But it was an important one for the storyline.
And this connects me to the characters and is very important for the “immersion” (in my opinion).
If I don’t care about the characters…it’s a massive minus for a movie or TV show.
This episode was a good start, but certainly not one of my favorites.
Hopefully, the action will start rolling in episode 2.
I have prepared another 2 videos for you folks, and this time it gets pretty violent, I used age restrictions for both videos as these surely aren’t suited for kids.
In the first scene, 4 of Scarlett’s classmates arrive at her home. These 4 terrorized her BIG time and now it’s time for some ….rather drastic….revenge!
Preview:
They are searching for Scarlett….
…but Rubberwoman finds them!

And here is the video:
–
Watch the video before you continue!
I just love how the score is so “opposite” to what is happening in that scene. You hear that happy kids song and you see such violence on screen. A great contrast, works really well for me!
Also, I love how she unmasks herself and then finishes the last of these evil girls off. Well, killing them off isn’t exactly justice, no matter what they did, but if you have seen what they did to her……you are rooting for the Rubberwoman ;-).
–
I have another short scene, I could have made the video a lot longer, but it’s “just” her in the suit without her mask and without action.
In this short one we do have more nice elements….check it out!
Preview:
Scarlett in her suit
Time to become Rubberwoman once more!

And here is the video:
–
Watch the video before you continue!
I’m happy and a little sad about this scene at the same time.
It’s great that we get another unmasking and masking in it. But it’s also a wasted “opportunity” for me.
She is in her suit and fully masked, the girls are there and now have a chance against Rubberwoman as they are outside the house.
But Rubberwoman runs away immediately (makes sense) and unmasks herself (damn it!).
And I cut the video there as nothing more is happening, she hides….and they don’t find her.
It would have been great to see these 4 girls battling her. In my version that would render her helpless and then would slowly tear her mask apart as they enjoy humiliating her and also wanna expose Scarlett’s face.
But ok, in the end, these two episodes had around 17 minutes of a woman in a latex catsuit! So, nothing much to complain about, especially as she is also (fully) masked in several scenes.
Two EPIC episodes for sure!
By now episodes 3 to 5 were also shown and I learned on the “Behind the mask” forum that the actress that played Rubberwoman will return in episode 7!
That doesn’t mean for sure that Rubberwoman will return…as this is an Anthology series where actors play different parts…..but there IS a chance!
As the filming of season 3 of Batwoman is already underway, we get more casting news!
Creegan will play Marquis Jet. A sexy playboy who grew up in a lavish lifestyle, Marquis is too charming for his own good and wields his power with a ne’er do well attitude. He views life as one big joke and that sense of recklessness has a tendency to clash horribly with his no-nonsense mother Jada Jet. When he meets Ryan (Leslie), he sees in her a like-minded young go-getter who like him is just waiting for the right opportunity to make his mark on Gotham.
Will be interested to see what he is up to and how that will most likely collide with Ryan and Batwoman’s plans! I guess he might become some sort of villain in the season.
So, what’s interesting about this “Nightwatchman” character in this TV show? And how it is relevant to this blog?
Well, what only some folks in the show will find out is…that this masked vigilante is actually a WOman. So the correct title would be NightwatchWOman 😉
I keep referring to her as the “Nightwatchman” because it is the name of the vigilante.
–
This one is actually one of the very best recommendations that were ever made to me! THANKS a LOT!
It will lead to an entry in the “Hall of Fame” in the next weeks 🙂
I somehow totally missed this TV show and in the end, the recommendation lead to me buying every three seasons of it on Blu-ray.
Each season has “only” 13 episodes but they greedily split each season into 2 blu-ray boxes with just 2 discs each. So I had to buy 6 Blu-ray boxes to get all 3 seasons.
But since the show isn’t new anymore…it wasn’t very expensive (besides the very last box).
This one is another perfect example while I love such characters in (long) TV shows. You really get connected to these characters and every scene has much more intensity for me than it would have if the character would just appear in some minutes during a random video. The character has much more depth and I am much more interested in what will happen to him/her throughout the show.
Yeah, it costs a lot of time to watch all these episodes, but it was more than worth it in the end. And not only for the Nightwatchman scenes, I enjoyed the whole show quite a lot…especially seasons 1 and 2.
–
In total, I have not fewer than 7 scenes with the Nightwatchman, today I wanna present the first two.
Here is the first scene as an appetizer….
Preview, scene 1:
Robin Hood chases…
…the mysterious masked vigilante known as “Nightwatchman” (and nearly impossible to get on a proper screenshot in this scene)
Even this video with less than 2 minutes wasn’t welcome on Youtube, so I had to go with plan B…. even that means that I have to make these posts without any videos on my Youtube channel. 🙁
–
Yeah, not much to see her as we get only some glimpses on the Nightwatchman.
But it is her first appearance and her background is explained to Robin and us.
And the next scene will be verrrrry interesting 😉
————————–
Preview, scene 2:
Lurking in the woods (and with leaves blocking the camera)
Let’s start with the costume: At that time only very few sexy fabrics were invented/in use.
I think they make a LOT out of the available materials. I like her leather top that….if you get a good look…. clearly gives away that the Nightwatchman is a woman ;-), even she tries her best that no one notices that with her costume.
I LOVE that she really takes a great effort to hide her identity. Actually, her whole masquerade has 3 items! The hood hides her hair, the rather big eye mask is concealing her face alongside the scarf that covers the lower part of her face.
She has so much to lose if someone would figure out who she is, and she does everything she can to protect her secret identity. A+
If you have seen at least one of the 3652 (or so) Robin Hood movies…you know that Marian is his big love. And that makes his reaction to the unmasking so pleasing to me.
He thinks the Nightwatchman is some kind of murderer (“he” is not) and finds Marian under these masks…. I love such a constellation!
The unmasking is filmed quite….odd. He pulls back her hood …but then she quickly decides to unmask herself completely. Well, it makes sense as they know and love each other (most of the time). As she realizes that there is no escape for her, she rather unmasks herself than letting him do it.
I would have rather preferred her to defend her mask and to put up a fight in a scene before he pins her to the ground, but well she will have some thrilling fights with others ;-).
And this was only the beginning…soon the evil “Guy of Gisborne” will try everything to stop the Nightwatchman.
Guy is also in love with Marian….. and really HATES the Nightwatchman at the same time.
Again…I LOVE such constellations! 😉

Wanna know from which episode of which show this is?
I’m a little late with sharing the news, so it’s about time to make a post here with all the relevant news of this week (so far)!
1 – Filming for season 3 of Batwoman started on July 19
I hope that the Covid restrictions are now less of a problem as they affected the filming of action and intimate scenes in season 2.
So far it’s unknown (to the public) how many episodes will be made, of course, I hope for as many episodes as possible 😉
—
2 – Victoria Cartagena has been cast for the role of Renee Montoya [Batwoman, season 3]
Victoria played the same role in the Gotham TV show and now she returns to the role in the upcoming season 3 of Batwoman.
At IMDB she is listed for 22 episodes in the Gotham TV show, but in 15 of those as “credits only”.
I do hope that her role in the Batwoman show will be a little bigger.
Also, it will be interesting to see how her relationship with Batwoman/Ryan will be. Will she find out that Ryan is Batwoman? Will she work alongside Batwoman? Will they even become a couple?
I predict a sure “yes” to the first two questions. Not so sure about the other one… 😉
So far I haven’t seen much of Victoria….but that will now change very soon.
—
3 – Leslie Grace will play Batgirl in the upcoming HBO Max Batgirl movie
This movie is in development for the last 400 years (feels like it) and now it finally has an actress for the leading role!
Leslie Grace will take the double role as Barbara Gordon and Batgirl.
On her own Twitter channel, she describes herself as “Singer/Songwriter” and “Sony Music Latin Artist”.
Her IMDB entry is very short as she has little acting experience…so far.
I have never seen her on-screen, but I will check out some of her music videos for sure in the upcoming days.
Looking forward to seeing how she will look and act in the role of Barbara Gordon and Batgirl.
I do hope that she doesn’t get one of the newer purple Batgirl costumes….but I have a bad feeling about it.
A talented artist on Instagram already put her in the Batgirl costume from the Arkham video games which would be my favorite choice:
This one came out of nowhere and was a great, pleasant surprise for me!
It was recommended to me by a nice guy just hours before I would have founded it myself on a website that I check once or twice a day.
As these two TV show episodes have so much interesting content I will make 2 posts about it with 4 videos in total.
And even these 2 pots won’t cover all the great scenes but certainly the best ones.
So, in this episode, a (lesbian) teenager and her two dads move into an infamous murder house.
Of course, they don’t believe in the stories that are told about the house….but that will change 😉
Preview, Scene 1:
Scarlett makes a discovery….
….a rather unusual one!
She is intrigued and wants to try it on!
But she soon discovers…
–
And here is the video:
–
Well, certainly a highly unusual, interesting, and sexy scene!
A little background knowledge: In season 1 of “American Horror Story” there was the so-called Rubberman who was one of the evil spirits/ghosts(?) of the mansion. Now this spirit tries to take control over the girl. Then it also makes sense that a suit that was formally worn by a man now fits a small woman. There are some evil forces in play here.
What is really great about this scene is how she transforms from these very unsexy clothes into this very sexy Rubberwoman. At least that’s how she is called in the episode title. I know that latex and rubber are similar but still, I wouldn’t call her catsuit a rubber suit as it is clearly latex for me. But well, seemingly ….for some…. rubber and latex are two words for the same thing.
However, at first, she practically wears the ugliest and unsexy clothes I can imagine. A big sweater, a wide pants-overall (don’t know if that’s the correct word), and sneakers. Then she hastily discards that outfit as she is pretty excited about the suit she found. She enjoys wearing it, but then sees the image of the Rubberman in the mirror and freaks out…of course.
She discards the sexy outfit.
But well….spoiler alert…..it will find its way back into the house 😉
–
Scene 2:
Scarlett is annoyed about the restrictions her dads put up on her internet access (she is into pretty violent porn….no joke!).
Suddenly she hears the closet door moving….
Preview:
Getting ready for action!
Wow! Some pretty scary eyes 😉
That didn’t go too well…
–
And here is the video:
–
Well….WOW!
I love how she dresses up for her little prank, enjoying it big time!
A little odd that her dads didn’t notice her fully black eyes. Ok, perhaps they were too distracted by the latex 😉
Love how she starts to laugh and unmasks in front of them.
I actually don’t think that she cut him by accident. He wanted to TEAR the latex suit of her…which is a pretty….well…. odd approach …as he is basically sexually assaulting his daughter!
She loves her new suit and the feeling it gives her…and she defends it as he tries to damage it. I think that’s why she cut him, to stop him from doing that.
In my version, she would still be masked and he would heroically attack her, going for her mask. His hand would be yanking on the latex, trying to unmask her. Then she would cut him to stop him.
And then, after she sees he is wounded… she would finally unmask herself. 😉
–
I have two more scenes ready for upload in a future post, most likely in two weeks.
If you have the chance to watch the full episodes…I can only encourage you to do that as she is in that catsuit for around 17 minutes in total!!!
Also, there are quite a lot of scenes where she puts that mask on or off!
She is in the first two 2 episodes of this new show:
A new spin-off TV show of the most successful TV show “American Horror Story” which is going in its 10th season later this year!
–
I was really sad when I found out that she is only in the first two episodes as the concept of this show is to have different stories and characters in each episode of the season.
At least she was in two episodes as the first two episodes are a 2 parter.
