Yeah, two masked women in one scene, not bad! Plus, the mask + sunglass disguise is pretty good as a disguise.

Not a big fan of the look with the sunglasses… but that’s a minor issue.

All in all, a great disguise as they really care to mask themselves.

A shame that this was just a test, and they gave up their masks so quickly.

In my version, the guards would show up without guns, and a massive fight would start.

And of course the guards would try everything to unmask these 2 😉

I watched most of the movie before I finally lost patience and quit.

The whole “story” is quite weird, and perhaps I was too tired or didn’t care enough about it.

Why is there a female archer with the mask? Hard to say… I guess the producer simply wanted to have her in the movie 😆

And the whole “lure a bunch of horny aristocrats into the tower, let them have sex, and then kill them off” is only explained in parts 😆

But it certainly delivers some interesting scenes…

I like how the guy finally goes for her mask, she struggles for a second, and he then immediately cuts her so he would recognize her without the mask.

Well, that was quick thinking, very quick. A little odd how quickly he lost interest in “just” yanking her mask off… but ok.

In the end, his actions did get him killed as she had already prognosed him.

It’s interesting how she is ok with unmasking herself as the candles get put out.

I guess we have to believe it was so dark then that he didn’t see anything of her face? Hmh… weird.

Anyhow, quite some interesting, unusual scenes for sure….

Yeah, quite a mixed bag this one.

There is the language issue…well, for most of us.

I love that she takes her disguise very seriously. The face is completely hidden by the mask (except the eyes), and she even wears a hood as an additional “layer”.

The costume is very…. well… practical and lacks any sexiness. Same for the mask.

She does have some interesting scenes in this one for sure. She is held at gunpoint, always thrilling.

One self-unmasking and re-masking. You could say that she isn’t fully unmasked… but for me it certainly counts as you can see the full face.

And then she has a weird kiss as well 😆

So, does he just kiss her on the plastic mask? That must taste quite bad…

Or does he get his tongue in that small opening of her mask? Which would also be quite…. odd.

I don’t know if these two know who is under the other’s mask, as I don’t have the context, as I don’t fully watch movies or TV shows without understanding the language at all.

But certainly some interesting stuff in this one… in my opinion.

A nice guy provided some info:

The Show name is อินทรีแดง (pronounced IN-SEE-DAENG or something, I am not an expert in transliteration) – The Red Mask, a crime-fighting vigilante who wears a red eagle mask. On this scene. The hero (the guy in red mask) did not aware who is in the black mask (female lead who goes by the psedonym Black Rose) and in the kiss scene is they are being chased and hide in that spot and the pursuer happened to do a body search and push that hiding spot so they accidentally kiss, again the hero still did not aware who is in the black mask and did not even aware that the one in the black mask is a woman (she use a formal male pronounce, a Thai language thing, while wearing that mask to identify herself). The drama is trying to frame this scene as a romantic accidental kiss between the male and female lead, from my understanding.

Serpentik – The final car chase scene with the awesome masked lady – [Hall of Fame]

Well, if you haven’t seen the whole movie… you might be pretty confused by now 😉

A lot is open for interpretation.

Simply put, the old guy relives his youth as he was a Bond-like agent chasing Serpentik, the masked woman who always escapes him.

He is obsessed with her (I fully understand that!) and tries to find out who is behind the mask.

If that all has happened really, or how much of it is just a fantasy… that’s not fully clear.

The comic scenes are a great visual addition to it.

They cheated again with her unmasking here, as we don’t see the process of the unmasking, and not even the exposed face that was hiding behind the mask.

Now she is masked by her hair as they fall down the cliff.

Unusual that we see his old version with her young version here.

I really like the scene as we get some more seconds with Serpentik, and all the action is done really cool with the music and the comic panels.

I would kill for a whole movie with Serpentik as the lead character… but I may have written that before… but I need to repeat it once more 😉

There are more scenes with her in costume in the movie… bud sadly only some seconds here and there.

Perhaps they were ashamed of the mask… I don’t know 😉

I really love her costume… quite a sexy combo!

Her mask does a good job of totally concealing her identity.

Sadly, the weird combo of that cheap 1$ white plastic mask + the lace cover…. looks really bad!

I mean, come on!!! Who said ok to this during the movie production? I guess they only had 10$ left as they “designed” that mask-combo 😆

The movie is quite trashy… but damn, it’s sexy! And that’s certainly enough in this case!

I stumbled upon it by accident as I saw the movie poster on a site.

And damn… I didn’t regret watching the whole thing 🙂

I also got the Blu-ray as soon as it was available here.

Sadly, the killer has only very little screentime, and her secret identity isn’t really a secret to the audience from the start.

I wish the killer had had a real struggle with anyone while still wearing her mask. And then just put a latex mask on her. That can be done for little money.

Then have some fights with her and someone who would try to unmask her. Or even be successful with that… ripping the mask of the killer wide open!

Ok, enough fantasy for today…

Yeah, a lot of wasted potential in this movie… but it has some hot women and a crazy, masked, female killer… certainly worth a watch (or a few)!

This is really crazy! In a good way 🙂

Yeah, I know that it is not actually one person wearing all these faces, as it rather symbolizes his endless hunt to unmask his arch-nemesis.

You can interpret this scene in many ways… but I just like the artsy end-product.

Ok, the “main” unmasking (with the black Serpentik mask) is very disappointing as it happens off-screen and is completely ridiculous.

So he rolls around with her and slides off her mask with that knife in a second…without even hurting her at all?

Well, then he would be the ultimate knife-master of the universe 😆

I get it, perhaps they didn’t find a way for a smooth unmasking that would look really good with the tight leather mask.

Or maybe they went with the easiest solution to portray her unmasking… by just not showing it.

Anyway, I love how he ties her up, finally getting control of her.

The fingernail scene is quite violent, but it makes sense since he must get rid of that danger.

The first face mask unmasking is great as he slowly rips it at first.

I also love how his hand is inside the one face mask as he stretches it violently to pull it off.

The way she stops his final unmasking attempt is done really well.

Yeah, they do cheat quite a bit with some unmaskings, but yeah…. it should be very difficult to show that much better without a much bigger budget.

All in all, I LOVE the whole scene as it has so much “mask content” in it.

Certainly a scene I will re-watch over and over….again.

Yeah, the movie can be confusing… especially when you see only bits and parts of it 😉

That’s why you should see the whole thing.

But just some explanations:

The old guy at the beginning is the older version of the guy who sits at the table with her… not too hard to get.

He is thinking about past encounters with his arch-nemesis, Serpentik. The woman in the black leather catsuit.

He always tries to get her, tries to unmask her.

The film also suggests that he made up these scenes in his mind, that it was all just a movie (within the movie)?

But, that’s not clear….

I will make one more video from this great movie.

Needless to say, I LOVE her costume and mask!

Black leather catsuit and that mask… it doesn’t get much better than that… in my opinion.

These are the first appearances of Serpentik in the movie.

She is the arch-nemesis of the hero. He wants to get her, he wants to unmask her.

She hides behind her mask… and even the face behind the mask… is a mask!

He is obsessed with her… which I can totally understand! 😉

It’s a bit odd that she doesn’t wear her usual mask in the bar. The audience (and all of those in the bar) thinks that she is fighting unmasked… but we see that she is actually wearing a face mask.

And not only one!?! But we will come to that later….

This scene is the most violent scene the movie has to offer, and damn… she is really killing those goons right and left!

Her arsenal is quite something. Deadly heels, razor-sharp claws, and little hooks in her hair(!).

Kind of a very violent/over-the-top Catwoman.

I love the twist and the end as she is laughing while ripping off her mask. A very sexy scene!

And even that face is just one of many…

By the way: Her leather catsuit is ….well…. AWESOME!

I will make at least one more post about this already legendary movie!

Yeah, certainly a scene you won’t see every day.

A hot, masked lady in a nice outfit who strips in front of a crowd…. and even unmasks herself!

The unmasking itself could have been done much better.

Would have been great if her face had faced the camera, and she then would have played with her mask.

Yanking on it gently… pulling it off a bit… pulling it back in place… teasing the crowd.

And then she would finally yank it off… revealing herself.

I don’t know why she didn’t spot these guys in the crowd before her unmasking.

But perhaps she was just so occupied by her own performance.

All in all, a good scene for sure!

For those who don’t speak German: He was working with the police to catch these criminals.

Earlier in the video, they discuss why he didn’t switch off every alarm. There was a backup system that he didn’t know about.

A shame that it’s hard to see her in the mask at first, as the scenes are very dark.

It’s nice that she gets caught and unmasked by the police. Odd that they don’t fully unmask her, and the mask stays on the top of the head.

All in all… a good scene in my opinion.

A Catwoman in the garden and a masked female thief at night

Sadly, the picture quality is rather bad… but it’s a rather rare TV show from the 90s, so you won’t find DVD or Blu-ray quality in such a case 🙁

Also, both scenes are quite short, especially the 2nd one, where you basically don’t get a single good look at the masked woman.

But enough complaining… I especially love the first scene! I mean, a wheel-flipping Catwoman in such a suit and mask? In the garden? In broad daylight?

Well, he is one lucky bastard! I wouldn’t mind being “attacked” like that….

The mask doesn’t really work for her as he quickly finds out who she is… yeah, the cowl isn’t a great disguise, but she certainly looks great in the suit and mask!

I highly suspect that is a stuntwoman in the suit at first… great job!

Also, a nice reveal when the mask comes off, even though there is a cut after she reaches for it.

I don’t know the reason why she is running around like that… will have to see the whole episode.

I guess she was practicing and wanted to get the role in a movie.

The second scene is a nice addition, even though it’s a shame the masked thief wasn’t shown properly at all.

You just see a masked figure running away from the guy, and she immediately gets unmasked… which isn’t shown properly as well.

Still, a masked female thief gets chased and unmasked… so I am glad the scene is in the episode.

In the end, it’s quite a smashing episode if you have 2 scenes like that in it 🙂

Yeah, only a short scene, but I had to include it.

I love how she captures the gear and uses the mask to blend in perfectly with the other cops.

A shame no one spoke to her as she was running around solo and had that fancy eye makeup on.

Sadly, the scene is short, and the masking and unmasking aren’t shown.

In my version, a cop would have asked her a question after becoming suspicious.

And then she would have a hand-to-hand fight with several cops who then try to overpower and unmask her… of course 😉

It would have been nice if she had still worn the mask as she was shooting….

… but ok, the mask had served its purpose, and she didn’t have a secret identity at that point.

Next week I will start posting about a new movie from this year… a movie that I saw in a small cinema last month.

A new movie that has so MUCH to OFFER… it will be included in the Hall of Fame 😉

A masked female killer in a weird red full face mask…. and a bizarre ending

This one was recommended to me just this week, and I somehow wanted to post about it.

This is an interesting one, and a strange one for sure.

It has an evil woman in a full mask in it….

I had to edit the scene a bit to make it YouTube-friendly.

The woman with the torch falls down, and the torch sets her hair on fire.

She doesn’t do much about it, and her head gets completely burned….. WTF!

The woman in the red mask is in several scenes of the movie… doing evil things… and finishing off some folks.

These scenes would often be problematic for YouTube as well.

But a bigger problem for me is… that I am 99,9% sure that they used a guy in that costume for basically all the scenes until the unmasking.

If I think a guy is in that costume, it’s very unsexy to me… even the masked figure is supposed to be a woman.

I mean, check the figure of the masked killer, it seems clearly male. Worst of all, you can see the hair/hairline very well as the material of the mask isn’t opaque (enough).

And I am sure you can see sideburns… so, a rather clear hint 😉

Sadly, it was a common practice back in the day to often use a stuntMAN for certain action scenes with women. (as stuntwomen were scarce)

But I mean, in that scene in that room… why use a guy there? There is basically nothing happening there!

Especially as the mask is giving it away that there is a man under that mask.

How did they think that no one would notice?

Luckily, times have changed in that regard.

The mask itself is a solid disguise, despite the not-opaque enough aspect.

The black markings around the mouth and eyes are rather uncool here.

Still, it’s a nice reveal when the mask gets pulled off…. even that could have been done much better.

The whole chase is a bit comedic with the way they stumble around the countryside 😆

It’s an interesting scene as he rips a part of her pants out and finds the piece of her pantyhose that he ripped also away from her.

Not exactly sure why she is wearing a pantyhose under her weirdo-killer outfit… but ok.

Perhaps they used a man in the costume the whole time to fool the audience, and that they would then be surprised at this hint?

Questions over questions!

But in the end, a weird and interesting scene… 🙂

Two women with full face masks join a couple for a walk?!?

I stumbled upon this one as I saw a promising preview picture in a TV magazine that I get.

I watched the whole movie… as mostly… it couldn’t live up to my hopes in terms of content with masked women.

But the opening scene was still very nice 🙂

Sadly, that was the only scene with masked women in the whole movie 🙁

I added a short scene with the three to show them all unmasked.

I also added the scene with the discarded masks, as I liked that bit as well.

The story of the movie sounds very promising:

A group of women takes justice into their own hands and attacks men who were abusive …or worse.

They tie them up and tattoo them with a date to leave a mark on them.

These men then all end up dead…. but plot twist… the women weren’t responsible for that, as some guys want to frame them.

In my mind, I was hoping that these masked women would get into a fight, and then there would be some unmasking action.

But nooooo, no luck.

I do like the scene as the masked women show up and the guy realizes that he ran into a trap.

A major plot issue is that he does know what one of his attackers looks like, as she wasn’t masked.

So, their plan has a big flaw 😉

All of them are together in a self-defense course with other women, but only these 3 are involved in the vigilante justice.

Well, that is quite a bizarre mask!

Is it supposed to frighten the opponents? Is it for protection? Is it to conceal her identity?

I would say only the first aspect might really work here.

It can’t be for protection, as she unmasks as soon as she really gets into a fight.

It can’t be for concealing her identity… for the same reason. Unless… these folks already know her secret identity, and that’s why she takes it off there?

Would love to know more about her, but I only know the scenes from the video.

The original video is on Youtube as well. I just edited it and made it about two minutes shorter (scenes without her).

Ok, back to her mask. I like that it disguises her really well… it’s really unusual, that’s cool as well.

I don’t like the see-through parts and all the metal buttons, but ok.

It’s a shame that she takes the mask off on her own.

It would have been great if she had protected a real secret identity with it and the guys would try to unmask her.

The catsuit is a nice bonus 🙂
