Remember Michael Russo (first picture above) from the first Black Scorpion movie (played by Bruce Abbot)?

The Detective that Black Scorpion has her “way” with? 😉 #nightlyattack #sexytime

Well, in the SAME year, he also played in this movie!

Well, one year and both of the movies he is in… he is the main guy who plays next to a masked woman!

Coincidence? Maybe… maybe not 😉

He surely has good taste in picking his roles…

As Black Scorpion …this movie is also… clearly a B-movie.

It’s certainly heavily “inspired” by Robocop.

This movie has Baywatch babe Nicole Eggert in the lead role, but it doesn’t make that much of it.

Her combat outfit is certainly more practical/”realistic” in comparison to Black Scorpion (and less sexy).

This one is also darker than Black Scorpion. Very little humor, and the bad guys are much more evil.

And the Demolitionist is mostly just shooting the bad guys…

Sadly, the secret identity of the Demolitionist isn’t much of a deal.

But I do like her mask, it covers enough of her face to be a good disguise for her.

Office girl gets attacked by crazy masked female killer

I had to make some cuts regarding that nasty needle…

First, some shots could be problematic on YouTube (#needle #throat), and also, the effect looks really cheap and fake.

I love that she fights back and partially unmasks her in a struggle. And you may know how much I love such unmasking struggles 😉

The audience doesn’t know for sure at this point who is under the mask and doesn’t see her (partially) unmasked face.

A very nice aspect!

She later writes down the name of the killer. Even that sheet gets taken away… they later use the old pencil trick to make the name visible #classic

Sadly, she isn’t wearing the mask later on, so nothing more to post here.

But I wanted to show her without the mask to you guys and choose a certain scene for it 😉

I’m not a fan of that art style (again), but the scene is interesting!

First, two masked women in such full masks are already great, a shame that she gets captured so easily without a fight.

I do LOVE the mask talk as Ghost-Spider disses Arachnids’ mask and Arachnid lets out a classic “NO!” as she gets unmasked 🙂

As Gwen realizes that Arachnid is another version of herself from another dimension, she quickly self-unmasks. Yeah, makes sense… sadly.

A nice ending with the smoke bomb and the escape.

Later on in the comic, Arachnid confronts Ghost-Spider again, who (sadly) has self-unmasked just before they met.

Arachnid has her mask on the whole time, so there isn’t more unmasking action there.

Yeah, not the best acting, and the rubber prop knife is really quite hilarious. SOOOO obvious 😆

But the scene has a woman in a nice balaclava mask, a struggle, and an unmasking.

Yeah, just a self-unmasking, but it’s a nice reveal.

It’s odd that she just drives away… but well, she wasn’t in her best state before it all started.

I would be way too curious and would love to see the face behind the mask.

Sadly, I don’t get mugged by masked women that often…. damn! 😉

I’m not a fan of that art style, but the scene is quite interesting!

I love the heavy rubber masks that they used in the early Batman movies from Burton and Schumacher.

They are sexy and a bit flexible, at least.

Not a fan of the Batman cowl(s) that were used in the Nolan Batman flicks.

Yeah, I get it, these were practical and were made of some hard material that actually protects the head.

For me, they look like rather unsexy “plastic” masks. #toomuchrealism

The mask that Batwoman is wearing here is seemingly similar.

It doesn’t rip, but it breaks as the arrow hits it (deflected?).

She is basically unharmed but partially unmasked, which is sadly no topic here of the conversations that followed 🙁

I do like the look of the partial unmasking.

You could argue that she is basically fully unmasked as the section that still is under the mask… looks like the one that is now exposed.

Ok, the nose is still covered as well, and the wig is still in place.

I do like Question and her full mask… quite a unique mask for a heroine.

I do think that look wouldn’t look well in real life, but in the comics, it does.

Looking forward to how this story gets continued…

Does Batwoman now run around with that damaged mask? And what will happen to Question?

A woman with many masks ….incl. balaclavas and a gas mask!

I had to cut down some scenes… so the video wouldn’t be too long.

Well, quite a lot of interesting scenes in this …cheap… action flick!

I haven’t seen the whole movie…yet… but I certainly will do to fully understand what is going on.

Her first outfit is weird.. but very interesting.

From what I understand so far, this woman isn’t with the good guys (at first) but also isn’t a villainess.

I don’t know why she is masked in the first place. Seemingly, it’s more to actually protect herself instead of protecting her identity… but I will know more soon.

At first, you can’t basically know that it is a woman under the mask.

She is running around with that weird rain poncho(?!?), at first so she is a random masked figure at first.

The scene with the rocket launcher is quite funny… oh boy! No budget and the physics…are troublesome 😉

Then, with the rain poncho gone (why was her character wearing that? :lol:), the audience can now see more of her, so the figure looks rather like a woman than a guy.

I LOVE that the guy tries to unmask her, even though the scene is verrrry short….but with some “mask talk” as I like to call it.

Such attempted unmaskings are quite rare… sadly.

But she defends her secret identity, and the fight goes on.

And the fight is quite solid, especially for such a movie.

Hilarious how all those folks manage to miss both of them completely with these guns… at this range. Damn!

The self-unmasking is …lame! Very quick… and not dramatic. No buildup to that.

But we do get to see her in another mask! That is verrrrry rare!

I like how she uses the mask to fool the guy and escape.

Ok, the mask wouldn’t work (no seal) in combination with the balaclava… a common mistake… but it does look great for sure!

The guy should realize that immediately.

Also, he should wonder why the clothes are so awfully baggy for her… but ok, it’s better not to think too much about such movies 😉

That epic mask combo would be so awesome for a dramatic 2-part unmasking struggle…. but no luck.

But at least we get a nice self-unmasking on screen.

All in all, this crappy movie offers quite a lot with kick-ass women, will edit this post after I have seen the whole thing.

Not often do you see a masked woman fight, especially not with another woman! A nice treat for starters 🙂

Well, I only know the thief from this scene… but she isn’t wearing gloves on her heist? Not the smartest move 😆

Also, her getaway car is that fancy red sports car? Hmh, also seems like a rather bad move…

Perhaps that context is explained in the full episode….

But she does take her disguise seriously and is well masked… and she doesn’t take her mask off immediately after the heist on her way back, that’s also a plus.

Their fight is nice, and I like how she manages to escape after she is down.

Rather uncool how easily he then catches her.

I do like that he unmasks her at gunpoint; that’s better than self-unmasking.

And that unmasking makes a nice reveal in combination with the dialogue.

Maybe I will see the full episode in the next few days to get the full context.

The psycho doc puts on the mask of a serial killer

I have finished watching this new season, and found some more interesting scenes in it 🙂

I posted about it two weeks ago:

And now we get a ….promise… for the next season 🙂

Let’s start with a scene that is unlisted on my YouTube channel, as it doesn’t contain a masked woman (but it’s important to understand the following one):

Damn, that was intense and sexy as hell. (as her outfit)

I think the fact that they were at the funeral “celebration” (that happened downstairs) was the only reason they didn’t go “further” than that 😉

I hope she continues to deal with her trauma in the next episodes by putting on a sexy costume and mask and living out her dark fantasies 😉

Even that might be too spicy for the producers.

I am already surprised, though, that they made this scene… that might be “too much” for a lot of folks already 😆 who are complaining now ( I guess).

And by the way: She is such a sexy character in the show in general!

Most of the time she is wearing a short skirt, heels, and pantyhose (like in the video above)… such a welcome sight in the current female fashion world of oversized blazers and sneakers.

This scene happens at the very end of the last episode of the season:

Ok, some backstory from season 1 of the show. That mask belonged to a crazy serial killer.

He was strangling her and nearly killed her.

She was already quite twisted with some darkness in her.

And now she is fully giving in to her dark side for the first time.

I know, this scene in itself isn’t a burner, but it’s a great promise of things to come 🙂

It’s safe to say that we will see more of her in that mask in the next season, which will come out next year.

Maybe she designs a mask of her own… and hopefully she puts on a stunning costume on as well.

The season did a good job in building her up as a villainess, and I hope we will get to see plenty of her next season 😉

This season, she was the sexy psycho doc, and I hope we get to see more of her dark side when she lives it out in a mask and costume.

As usual, I wouldn’t mind a dramatic unmasking 😉

A nice mask/hood combo that disguises her very well 🙂

Unfortunately, she didn’t have any action scenes here while in that mask (besides the one kick).

But at least we get a nice (self-) unmasking.

And the martial arts action is quite good for such a low-budget flick.

I checked the movie for more scenes with masked women… but no luck.

This scene drives me mad big time… but it’s also very interesting! 🙂

Ok, the (evil) anti-vigilante guys are looking for Karen Page, so she only goes into public areas with a wig and often sunglasses.

Here she is wearing her wig and a mask… like many other protesters, so she blends in fine.

Her disguise is very good, and no one would recognize her.

But then things fall quickly apart.

For no (obvious) reason, she pulls down her mask for the first time… maybe the old… “we can’t show our lead actress masked for too many seconds” trope again. 🙁

Or her character is careless like hell…. or both. 🙁

Then she pulls her mask back on again, but then pulls it off again for no reason.

At first, I thought a cop/anti-vigilante task force guy would yank her wig off, but no.

That seems to be some protester with a gas mask… but not entirely sure.

But what is happening there? Is she in the way? He pushes her and grabs her (false) hair.

He rips the wig off and is gone.

That seems so weird. So he ripped her wig off by accident and just ran off? Why did he grab her hair? Seems so very odd for some reasons.

Or was it on purpose? But why? And how did he know it was a wig?

However, it’s a great reveal when she is now fully exposed without her mask and wig.

It’s weird that she doesn’t put her mask back on, as that is still easily available to her.

But ok, she cares more about her friend who got knocked down.

Therefore, a leader of the anti-vigilante task force is recognizing her immediately.

A nice cliffhanger at the end of the episode 🙂

It drives me mad how poorly she manages to keep her face hidden in this.

2 self-unmaskings for no reason, and then her wig gets ripped off, and she fails to react to that.

Still a very interesting scene.

Yeah, she is a reporter in the underground who portrays the criminal mayor of New York, Wilson Fisk, who is a gangster boss in the first place.

She is perfectly disguised with that massive rubber mask.

Damn, how much I would love it if the bad guys would storm into the studio and rip that mask apart in front of the camera….. 😉

But still a great “imagine if” moment as the unmasking is done quite well.

What is better than a scene with a masked woman?

A scene with 2 masked women who are fighting each other! 🙂

I love that the imposter fools Catwoman for a second, but she quickly gets suspicious and realizes that this imposter is fully masked to impersonate a very close friend of hers.

I’m not a big fan of the Catwoman costume and that mask… which is quite close to the crazy Catwoman movie…

That mask can be removed way too easily, as we have seen in earlier episodes of “Masks off” 😉

But at least it’s a cowl and not an eye mask.

The unmasking is a little too quick for my taste, but it’s a “real” unmasking as someone else pulls off her mask.

Way too often, we get lame self-unmaskings, so this is always a welcome change.

I love the 2 extra pages, which show Black Mask and all the masks in the background.

Looking forward to the next Catwoman comic, even though he might not try to fool her again like that.

A crazy-funny speech at a funeral ceremony, a masked villainess, a dead body …and Nordberg

In this, we have a crazy speech and some masked criminals who wanna steal a (dead) body!

Of course, there is a masked woman among them, otherwise the post wouldn’t be here 😉

She is also their boss…

Damn, that speech! Pure comedy gold for me…so I had to include the full thing in the video.

“Ah well, …he was a pimp, a drug dealer and a murderer…. but deep down he was a fine guy!”

:LOL:

But then the masked goons show up as they are looking for something inside the dead guy.

Suddenly, the police are showing up in full force (Why? And why so soon?), and they ran out of the church.

They see the police, and some of them unmask… WTF?!?!

Damn, that is SO stupid … it’s almost as funny as the speech.

But it certainly drives me nuts. The reveal is great as she unmasks herself.

But…. WHY? WHY would you take off your mask as the cops show up?

WHY would you then run back into the church, so that everyone can see you unmasked?

I guess the old “the audience must see our hot actresses’ faces” trope from the damn producers 🙁

It’s especially frustrating as she runs away from the cops and even fights them.

How great would it have been if she had still worn her mask and they had tried to unmask her?

No… that would make too much sense.

And walking around the neighborhood in that outfit… made it rather difficult to escape 😉

But it’s a nice bonus that then Nordberg (aka O.J. Simpson) shows up. I always laugh when I see him… because of his role in the “Naked Gun” movies.

Hmh, perhaps I will still watch the whole damn movie, even though there are (seemingly) no more scenes with her in a mask in it.

Yeah, two masked women in one scene, not bad! Plus, the mask + sunglass disguise is pretty good as a disguise.

Not a big fan of the look with the sunglasses… but that’s a minor issue.

All in all, a great disguise as they really care to mask themselves.

A shame that this was just a test, and they gave up their masks so quickly.

In my version, the guards would show up without guns, and a massive fight would start.

And of course the guards would try everything to unmask these 2 😉
