I decided to put the earlier scene at the end, as I didn’t want to reveal her face before the big unmasking by the male ninja.
Let’s start with some bad news:
There are some scenes in the episode where she is doing her evil ninja things and fighting with the good guy.
What is bad about it?
Well, the whole time a stuntMAN is playing her role.
That is SO annoying. I am wondering how they thought they could get away with it.
I mean, the audience didn’t know that this ninja is a woman for a long time until she unmasks herself.
But everyone should clearly see that the evil ninja was played by a guy in all those scenes before.
Yeah, they often used stuntMEN to play women in action scenes back in the day, especially in the 50s, 60s, and 70s.
Mostly due to the lack of stuntwomen.
But this show was aired in the early 90s! And they didn’t find any stuntwoman who could have played that role… fully masked?
I mean, even fully masked in a somewhat loose ninja outfit… you can normally see if it is a woman or a man after a few seconds. And here that stuntguy was shown for minutes!
That’s quite laughable and annoying and shows how badly stuntwomen were needed.
But let’s focus on the scenes in the video.
I think she could have easily gotten a shot at the guy, but she took way too long. Ok, I am not 100% what that barrel exactly was, I guess it was for a deadly dart?
Don’t think that it would have enough range, plus the handling of that thing seems awfully difficult in order to get a very targeted shot at a longer range.
But ok, that’s details…
I think she looks great in that mask, perfectly disguised. The fight is too short, but I love how he defeats and unmasks her! A good reveal for sure 🙂
Ok, some reaction from her would have been nice and she completely freezes in …disappointment(?), but ok…
The self-unmasking is a great reveal, even though it is a bit quick.
I wouldn’t mind having a TV show with a female ninja in the main role!
Then, in a black outfit with some tweaks to her costume.

4 weeks ago, I posted some pictures from a new Catwoman comic book in which she got unmasked during a fight.
Just one issue later, there is another fight… and again(!)…someone grabs into her mask!

Ok, I don’t know if the writer is into unmaskings, or it is just a coincidence… but I love how the guys are going for her mask when they fight her!
This guy is only partially successful in unmasking her, but I love how he grabs into her mask and stretches the fabric 🙂
I think the mask could stay on her head with a yank like that, but it’s quite off how it (mostly) pops back into place like that.
The fabric also doesn’t rip, so it must be quite strong (enough).
He certainly doesn’t play around as he hits her quite hard several times.
I would love to know why he goes for her mask, as everyone seems to know who this Evie person is, who is Catwoman here.
Does he think it would weaken her if he unmasks her? Is that his way of dominating her? Or did it happen by accident/at random?
Hard to say…
It’s also interesting that neither he nor she comments on the unmasking attempt in any way… quite a shame 🙁
Still, a great scene as in 99.9% of the fight scenes with a masked woman… the mask gets ignored or is completely invincible to damage.
These pages are from “Catwoman 74” (2025) from the current series.
Issue 75 only has a flashback story in it, so I hope for issue 76 for an unmasking… even I BET she is already unmasked and wakes up tied up somewhere 🙁

I have to admit… if I had to rate the Batman 60’s TV show and the ’60s movie on IMDB… I would have a really hard time!
On the one hand, they are very crazy, very campy, entertaining, and very funny (often unintentional) and completely over the top.
On the other hand, they are completely insane and much more for kids than adults. They are basically crazy parodies of Batman.
If you would wanna watch a “normal” Batman-action flick… you (normally) won’t pick the old TV show or the movie.
If I watch the old Batman TV show, then I watch season 3 with Batgirl…. for obvious reasons…. even I’m not a big fan of any of the costumes on the TV show (even though they do have their own charm).
Especially the tiny Catwoman eye mask doesn’t work at all for me.
Also not a fan of the costume (‘s material), even though it is at least…. tight, and her pointy bra makes the most of it 😉
The self-unmasking here is ok, but the unmasking through fall…. is really bad for me.
This is a good example of why a mask should be secured well, so it won’t just come off by some random movement or tiny accident.
What is really good here for me is that Bruce Wayne/Batman knows Miss Kitka (always thought it would be “Miss Kitkat”) and is in love with her.
Batman is really shocked as he sees Catwoman’s exposed face. That should tell her that he is Bruce Wayne as he is staring at her for ages…. but well, not in that reality.
I do love her reaction to the sudden unmasking, well done!
Of course, it would have been much better if her would have unmasked her in a struggle… but it is better than a self-reveal from her.
And it’s certainly a rare unmasking… as it is an “unmasking by accident” which is quite rare to find.

I like that he immediately goes for her mask and the reveal is done pretty cool as she steps out of the steam with her unmasked face.
Ok, the unmasking itself was very quick… but well, it fits Superman 😉
The confrontation on the roof was well done as well, love the dialogue and the tension between them.
Also nice that we then get a self-unmasking on top as she unmask in front of the henchman as she wants to kill him.
In this case, the self-unmasking isn’t reckless as she kills him.
In the final scene, she confronts Lex Luthor, who is behind the murder of her mother.
Interestingly, she doesn’t unmask herself there… maybe they thought two unmaskings in one episode were enough.
Yeah, makes sense… somehow.
All in all, a strong episode with some good scenes 🙂
Wouldn’t mind if she would get her own TV show… with an upgraded mask and costume then 😉

Ok, I’m not the biggest fan of the art style, but it’s ok.
I am also not the biggest fan of this Catwoman costume with the mask that feels more like a helmet and isn’t secured in any way (no strap).
From what I understand, Selina took on that “Evie” name as a cover. I need to do some more digging on that.
I do find this unmasking verrrry interesting!
He tries to knock her out from behind, but that doesn’t work.
They struggle to get control over the pistol, he loses it.
Then he immediately grabs into her mask and yanks it off her head before she can react.
A great unmasking! Hard to say what he saw of her face before he got knocked out.
But I guess that doesn’t matter that much, as Catwoman seems to have no (real) secret identity at this point in the comics.
Ok, I don’t know if this guy knows who is behind the mask and what she looks like exactly… maybe someone can comment on this post with some info! 😉

Maybe he is curious what she looks like? Maybe it was more of an accident in the struggle?
It certainly is a fine example of how easy such an unsafe mask would be pulled off! A quick, simple yank and she is unmasked!
It’s a shame that there is no mask talk here. No introduction from him, no comment from her.
It’s also interesting that she doesn’t even care enough to put the mask back on right away.
Damn, my masked heroine/vigilante/villainess in a story or video wouldn’t behave like that.
However… I really love this scene as it is quite unusual that some guy would just unmask the heroine of the story like that.

I made notes about this show and certain episodes. This show has a lot of interesting scenes for several fetishes.
But somehow I totally forgot about a certain episode with a masked female vigilante.
Which is quite odd since she has a good screen time and a solid costume and mask.

So, these are the first 2 scenes with our masked vigilante… and there are more to come 😉
A classic introduction for the vigilante as she just appears in time to save that woman.
With her special powers, these goons are no match for her.
Of course, she isn’t interested in being featured in the newspaper, so she threatens the woman who has written an article about her.
Her costume is solid with a leather coat and cowl mask. It hides her identity well enough and looks good.
If such a vigilante would be in my City, I might quickly become a criminal 😆
So, who is behind that mask? The audience doesn’t know so far, and neither do Clark Kent (aka Superman) and his friends.
But that will change soon enough 😉

I think she looks stunning in that mask! And without that mask too… by the way.
I like her mask, it hides enough of her face and looks good on her, especially in combination with her hair.
Her tight leather jacket is also a great choice 🙂
There are some more minutes with her in the mask, but these were the highlights.
And yeah, that kid is only playing the victim, as it is hinted here already…. I won’t say more.
So the 4 guys and 2 women who kidnapped her are the ones in real trouble.
I edited the scenes so you wouldn’t see her unmasked face before the quick unmasking at the end #suspense
It’s a shame that her secret identity isn’t a real thing here and that no one tried to unmask her.
But still, strong scenes in a movie that is quite good 🙂

Yeah… I know … you could argue that she isn’t really masked as she isn’t visible at all.
At least not in a traditional way.
But in order to be invisible, she must be masked in order to be invisible. 😉
So… for me, it “counts”.
I decided to start with the action scene without showing her face prior, so the reveal would have a bigger effect for you guys (more mystery).
But I did wanna show a bit of her without her suit, so I just switched the two scenes.
I love that she gets unmasked without being unconscious or restrained (handcuffs)… a nicely done unmasking!
And I am happy that we get to see a bit of her right before the unmasking…. even if it’s only some shapes.
It’s a little uncool that the two find out about her being in that suit before the unmasking and already knew who would be in it.
Yeah, there is more of the invisible woman in the episode, but you literally see nothing of her… so I won’t post these scenes.
The whole concept of the episode is pretty cool. A bit too “fantastic” perhaps for a police TV show… but I like it to bring in some more variety.

Ok, I am sure you wonder if there is more footage of her in that costume 😉
Well, yes and no… mostly no
There is a scene where the two get attacked by the masked vigilante in a dark alley.
But you basically see nothing of her. All cut very swiftly and the picture is very dark as well.
So, these few seconds of her around the forced self-unmasking is all we get.
That is a real shame… because the storyline is soooo interesting.
We have some bad guy who attacks a woman and gets killed by a masked vigilante.
But the vigilante is shown so little in the episode.
And the vigilante is actually a woman… what nobody of them even considered (#eyeroll) but there are two vigilantes.
The actual killer who kills for “justice” (a guy) and then the real vigilante who is this woman.
A cop during the day and a masked vigilante at night… somehow reminds me of a certain TV show and three movies with the same protagonist 😉
Even the costume is pretty cool and she is wearing a real mask, a mask that fully hides her identity! Not some crappy 5 Dollar eye mask from the store.
Damn, what I would would give if she would get her own TV show…
But here she just comes home and immediately gets forced to unmask herself (#masktalk).
Glad that she didn’t do that on her own and the unmasking is done well, even a little too fast.
It’s just crazy that you have such a masked vigilante in an episode and give her so insanely little screentime and not one action scene 🙁
One prior fight scene with the detectives…. perhaps with an unmasking attempt and she then manages to escape… that would have been awesome!
No luck… still… a great scene for me!

Well, so… what do I love about this one?
First, they get attacked with gas. They react and pull out some oxygen masks/devices.
But… that is not enough, as this gas works with skin contact.
Batgirl is protected much better with her full suit and mask, but eventually, the gas gets through the fabric of her sexy latex (? – at least in my mind) suit.
I would have preferred if the gas would have worked more “traditionally” and the goons would have managed to yank off the oxygen masks/devices of the two.
But still…. a great peril how Batgirl continues to fight until she collapses.
They get tied up and the threat of unmasking them appears…. I love how Penguin and the other guys talk about unmasking them …and who would do it and so on 🙂
Such a predicament for the two masked heroes…..
Luckily for them, they don’t act and just talk about it endlessly… like a Bond villain who wants to kill him.
Penguin even has his hand on one of the ears of Batgirl’s cowl, but she is lucky he gets stopped.
Then they have to fight each other… another great idea! I mean they must be careful not to unmask each other by accident.
Especially as Robin punches Batgirl in the face repeatedly, but the fabric doesn’t rip, so she can still hide behind her mask.
Interestingly her mask does get damaged on the cover of the Batgirl comic book, as some fabric seems to tear off her mask.
She gets touched by that goon and by Penguin and plays dead.
She is very lucky again as none of them try to unmask her…. quite odd… as they MUST be curious to see how she looks like beneath that mask!
Then the guys turn against Penguin and they can both escape with their secret identities intact!
Quite a long scene with these two… and a lot of interesting aspects.

Yeah, most of you don’t understand German (it’s an Austrian TV show) … so let me provide some background info and explain some aspects.
*EDIT* You can try the automatic subtitles of course on YouTube. Not the best job, but much better than understanding nothing.
In the reality of this comedy/horror TV show… there are creatures with powers… and there are (also) vampires.
This event here is a masquerade ball hosted by the vampires. And our heroes are there in these costumes to blend in.
So… yeah, no more Batgirl scenes in other episodes of this show.
Our heroes want to stop the plan of the evil vampire leader.
I really like her Batgirl costume which is very much like the 60’s TV show costume of Batgirl that Yvonne Craig was wearing.
She is even wearing a red wig.
Yeah, I prefer Batgirl in a black rubber suit… but this one is good as well.
Especially as it has a solid cowl that disguises her well.
Sadly the character here doesn’t have any secret identity.
The vampires immediately recognize her as the cowl doesn’t “work” here in the reality of this TV show.
Which is quite ….odd….. as much lesser disguises (in terms of face coverage) work in 99% of the movies/TV shows.
It’s a shame that her unmasking happens off-screen… but at least we get to see her in costume and without her mask for some time.
This video has most of the Batgirl scenes from the episode, I only left out some lame(r) ones so the video had better chances to stay up on YouTube.
All in all I really love the scenes with her, even without an unmasking and secret identity peril.
My highlights are the scene were the goon pulls on her hair (or cowl?) and the campy fight scenes with the fitting music 🙂
And you certainly won’t find many scenes with such a lovely Batgirl in mainstream movies/TV shows… outside season 3 of the 60s Batman TV show.
