I really like the fight! Not often you see a fight with a masked woman in such an intensity 🙂

Yeah, it’s a rather short scene, but well done!

A shame that the unmasking is done off screen, but ok, he did know already who she is, so the unmasking wasn’t a big deal.

The unmasking was purely for his entertainment, so he could see her facial reactions as he is now in control… for the moment.

The fight with them goes on a little further, but with her still being unmasked …and it would have made the video too long.

In my version, he would destroy her mask by smashing it with an elbow… for example.

In this one, we have 2 women in full face masks and a guy…. who have a little “argument” 😉

My first video of this was one minute longer, it got blocked right away.

So I tried a version with one minute less, without cutting away any screentime of the masked ladies…. and seemingly that’s ok.

Yeah, it’s just a short scene, but I like it. Not often you have two masked women fighting each other… especially in full face masks!

Ok, the mask that Ava Starr is wearing looks more like a futuristic loudspeaker than a sexy mask… but at least it’s a fresh design 😆

And yeah, the unmaskings are rather uncool, and they don’t have a real secret identity.

These masks are for combat protection … and to make them look bad-ass.

And I’m not a fan of such “magic” masks that pop on and off like that.

Nevertheless, they are great disguises!

It’s a shame that Antonia Dreykov’s (played by Olga Kurylenko) character gets finished off like that.

Especially as her part was much bigger at first… as you can see in some trailers.

But for some reason, her role got crazily minimized, and she was just finished off after being barely 2 minutes on screen.

Yeah, two quick self-unmaskings in this one. Nothing great, but at least there are unmaskings in this one.

And I like the short peril scene where she grabs onto her mask… and surprisingly doesn’t unmask. Well done! She stays masked 🙂

Since she is a good person, brainwashed to be an evil cartel boss… I wonder why the good guys never get close and try to unmask her.

Would be the perfect setup for a big reveal. Don’t know if anyone besides the guy who got her the mask knows who she is.

A dramatic unmasking struggle would have been great (as always), and/or some mask damage where more of her face would have been revealed.

The masked female axe killer and her twin?!

Thanks to the nice person who recommended this one some weeks ago!

I had it already on my old list of movies with masked women.

But back then, as I checked it … I seemingly didn’t find it that interesting for some reason.

I don’t have a clue why…. as this scene is quite cool!

I watched the whole movie just today to get the full … picture 😉 of what is going on here.

Ok, time for some background story. The mother was locked away in an asylum for 20 years after she killed her man and a woman with an axe.

Now she is back and finally sees her daughter again. But seemingly she isn’t so healthy again after all…. and is seemingly so unwell that she has killed again.

But no…. in the end, her daughter is the actual crazy one now and tries to pin the murders on her mother.

Sadly, that is the only scene where she is wearing that mask, and it doesn’t even make much sense.

But perhaps she pulls on the mask to become the killer, and then, without the mask, she thinks she is fine 😆

Wearing that mask would have only made sense if someone had seen her committing a murder, then that murder could have been pinned on her mother.

However, I like how her mother pins her down and then unmasks her. It’s really good that it is an actual mask and the unmasking is shown… even it is quite fast.

Yeah, the mask is crafted really well (for that time), but you can still easily spot that it is a mask. I guess that is why she was only shown in it for a minute.

I do love how the mask is then used later on and how the daughter presents all her craziness… quite a surprise for the audience!

Damn, I need a boss like her! 😉

And she has the guts to be the first one in the action while her goons provide additional firepower.

Wouldn’t mind if she had fought against that other woman hand to hand… but no luck.

If you check her mask closely at 1:07, it has a little crack in it at the bottom 😉

In my fantasy, it would be the sign of an earlier unmasking attempt, but I guess that is just me 😆

And there is no such scene in the show…. to my knowledge.

Her masked persona disappeared in the show for over 20 episodes, and she returned with that golden mask.

Don’t know why… but it certainly looks even more eccentric.

I do like the close-ups in that scene.

The next time, I will reveal the face hiding behind that mask!

Lately, a source was finally recommended, and I got the chance to check it out!

Yeah, the picture quality is hideous, the language is unfamiliar to most, and the scene is rather short.

But still a nice scene since she is well disguised, and I like how she gets unmasked.

The priest pinning her down and yanking her mask away while she lets out a disappointed sigh.

I added the part at the police station so you could get a good….pixelated…. look at the unmasked face.

I did edit the first scene in a way that you don’t see her face #mystery

Ok, some background story first (from the one who recommended me the show/episode):

The woman is the show’s female lead and has amnesia at some point. She gets brainwashed into leading a double life, and one of those is the ruthless leader of a cartel.

I have only seen some scenes, and I only have a Spanish audio version, and this show has quite a lot of episodes.

Ok, of course her mask itself isn’t sexy in any way… but it covers her full face and is a great disguise for her.

It’s very simple, but it works perfectly.

And I just love the mystery of her mask!

If I didn’t know who she is… and I saw her in that mask… and the nice outfit… I would certainly be…. intrigued… among other things 😉

Yeah, I’m sorry I had to make a cut in the middle of the video.

But I don’t want to risk my YouTube channel for some potential “spicy” content (according to YouTube standards).

Sometimes, Amish YouTube is very strict, and any sexual content, especially sexual violence in a video, is potentially dangerous for the uploader.

Even though it is very “tame” here.

I will describe what happens in the 42 seconds I cut out:

The rifle barrel slides slowly down her body, he gets big eyes (and something else?), and he tosses her on the bed.

They clumsily wrestle around a bit, and while his face is on her… upper body… she clunks him on the head with some tableware.

That’s it…

I think the chances are good that YouTube would be okay with it, but… it’s just not worth the risk.

Let’s focus on the “rest”:

I don’t know the story of this, I know only a slightly longer video, and it’s all in Japanese… which I don’t understand.

Obviously she doesn’t have any experience in her task, but for some reason, she wants to kill him by poisoning… whatever that weird beverage with the animal part in it… is called.

He is prepared as he has a rifle at the ready and immediately unmasks her.

I like his determination here, he doesn’t fool around… he points the gun at her and goes for her mask. Good job!

But then he gets in villain mode and gives her the chance to knock him on the head and get hold of the rifle.

The end for him…

So, in the end, she does kill him… but not as stealthily as initially planned 😉

The rifle is fascinating here. It makes weird noises when fired, and she doesn’t reload it after the first shot, even it is a bolt-action rifle 😆

Seemingly, they used a rifle that didn’t work at all. Maybe because of Japanese gun laws, as the guy suggested who recommended me the clip.

All in all, a good scene with a nice unmasking.

I decided to put the earlier scene at the end, as I didn’t want to reveal her face before the big unmasking by the male ninja.

Let’s start with some bad news:

There are some scenes in the episode where she is doing her evil ninja things and fighting with the good guy.

What is bad about it?

Well, the whole time a stuntMAN is playing her role.

That is SO annoying. I am wondering how they thought they could get away with it.

I mean, the audience didn’t know that this ninja is a woman for a long time until she unmasks herself.

But everyone should clearly see that the evil ninja was played by a guy in all those scenes before.

Yeah, they often used stuntMEN to play women in action scenes back in the day, especially in the 50s, 60s, and 70s.

Mostly due to the lack of stuntwomen.

But this show was aired in the early 90s! And they didn’t find any stuntwoman who could have played that role… fully masked?

I mean, even fully masked in a somewhat loose ninja outfit… you can normally see if it is a woman or a man after a few seconds. And here that stuntguy was shown for minutes!

That’s quite laughable and annoying and shows how badly stuntwomen were needed.

But let’s focus on the scenes in the video.

I think she could have easily gotten a shot at the guy, but she took way too long. Ok, I am not 100% what that barrel exactly was, I guess it was for a deadly dart?

Don’t think that it would have enough range, plus the handling of that thing seems awfully difficult in order to get a very targeted shot at a longer range.

But ok, that’s details…

I think she looks great in that mask, perfectly disguised. The fight is too short, but I love how he defeats and unmasks her! A good reveal for sure 🙂

Ok, some reaction from her would have been nice and she completely freezes in …disappointment(?), but ok…

The self-unmasking is a great reveal, even though it is a bit quick.

I wouldn’t mind having a TV show with a female ninja in the main role!

Then, in a black outfit with some tweaks to her costume.

Yeah… I know … you could argue that she isn’t really masked as she isn’t visible at all.

At least not in a traditional way.

But in order to be invisible, she must be masked in order to be invisible. 😉

So… for me, it “counts”.

I decided to start with the action scene without showing her face prior, so the reveal would have a bigger effect for you guys (more mystery).

But I did wanna show a bit of her without her suit, so I just switched the two scenes.

I love that she gets unmasked without being unconscious or restrained (handcuffs)… a nicely done unmasking!

And I am happy that we get to see a bit of her right before the unmasking…. even if it’s only some shapes.

It’s a little uncool that the two find out about her being in that suit before the unmasking and already knew who would be in it.

Yeah, there is more of the invisible woman in the episode, but you literally see nothing of her… so I won’t post these scenes.

The whole concept of the episode is pretty cool. A bit too “fantastic” perhaps for a police TV show… but I like it to bring in some more variety.

Ok, I am sure you wonder if there is more footage of her in that costume 😉

Well, yes and no… mostly no

There is a scene where the two get attacked by the masked vigilante in a dark alley.

But you basically see nothing of her. All cut very swiftly and the picture is very dark as well.

So, these few seconds of her around the forced self-unmasking is all we get.

That is a real shame… because the storyline is soooo interesting.

We have some bad guy who attacks a woman and gets killed by a masked vigilante.

But the vigilante is shown so little in the episode.

And the vigilante is actually a woman… what nobody of them even considered (#eyeroll) but there are two vigilantes.

The actual killer who kills for “justice” (a guy) and then the real vigilante who is this woman.

A cop during the day and a masked vigilante at night… somehow reminds me of a certain TV show and three movies with the same protagonist 😉

Even the costume is pretty cool and she is wearing a real mask, a mask that fully hides her identity! Not some crappy 5 Dollar eye mask from the store.

Damn, what I would would give if she would get her own TV show…

But here she just comes home and immediately gets forced to unmask herself (#masktalk).

Glad that she didn’t do that on her own and the unmasking is done well, even a little too fast.

It’s just crazy that you have such a masked vigilante in an episode and give her so insanely little screentime and not one action scene 🙁

One prior fight scene with the detectives…. perhaps with an unmasking attempt and she then manages to escape… that would have been awesome!

No luck… still… a great scene for me!

Well, an interesting aspect is that two groups of burglars appear at the same time 😆

I like this competition, especially as the one guy pulled one of the masked women to him and threatened her.

I hoped he might go for the mask… but no luck. Still, I love that tension in a scene like that 🙂

In my version the 5 would have a struggle and would try to unmask each other… or the police would corner the masked women, trying to unmask them.

But if I understood it right the 3 women and the 2 men already knew each other, and that’s why the men pulled down their masks in that scene already.

Ok, I don’t like how careless the women then get with their masks as they present their unmasked faces for so long…. really uncool.

Don’t know why they targeted that grocery store… maybe it seemed like an easy target… or that had a lot of cash on that particular day for some reason.

But all in all, it’s a good scene for sure! I mean three women in full face masks + some action…. good stuff!

The 4 women who became masked burglars – Part 1 – Testing …and the first heist

I “like” how they rob the bank.

They use one of their own as the “hostage.” This is very thoughtful, as no outsider gets terrorized, and the hostage knows exactly what to do.

They are fully masked, use a tape recording for the instructions, and take care of the camera.

A good heist scene with three masked women (and their accomplices).

Well, this was rather the warm-up for the big heist that I will present next week 😉

I added the second scene without masks… so you would see them unmasked as well (…and their ending).

Damn, that camera work is …. really uncool.

A shaky cam and they cut away from them every second 🙁

(which also made it difficult to get solid screenshots at least)

I guess that is supposed to make a thrilling scene… but in this case, it doesn’t work as I would have liked to see them for more than one second at a time.

Still, their way of entry is badass and they look great in their masks and leather jackets!

A shame that no one unmasked them or got close enough to (at least) try to unmask them.

It seems really crazy that they show their faces at the second heist in broad daylight… but I guess the good guys found out about their identities in the meantime.

It wasn’t the smartest movie of the blonde to pull her second gun while a gun was pointed at her… but I guess she preferred death over prison.

The 3 masked female assassins … and the crappy CGI monster!

The movie itself is really really really bad with a budget of maybe 9.99$ and an impressive IMDB score of 2.1 (!).

But…. it has 3 masked women in it who are masked for most of the movie. 🙂

Yeah, the masks aren’t exactly interesting or sexy… but in terms of a good disguise… they work perfectly.

And having 3 of these masked women is a bonus as well.

Sadly their identity isn’t a real issue here and even the self-masking had a bad cut as they cut away from her frontal face view for a moment.

If I remember right one of the other two gets unmasked as she gets killed but only the result is shown… as she suddenly lays there …dead and unmasked.

But I like that they were the masks for so long as that builds up some tension.

A shame that there were no attempts to unmask them or any scenes with mask damage in the flick.
