It’s time that I present here some of my favorites videos that he did over the last months.

He made this edit of the famous scene where Batman yanks on Catwoman’s cowl but she stops him before he can unmask her.

In this version things do take a different turn:

I just love how he does the 2nd attempt and completely rips her cowl (and costume) away.

For me, it would have been “enough” if he would have just unmasked her….but others may favor this version

This scene is one of my favorites from the animated series. It’s always great for me to have such an unmasking attempt. These are quite rare! I love how she is determined to not let him unmask her.

Another old favorite of mine is this scene where Robin nearly unmasks Batgirl:

I guess you may guess what happens in his edited version:

Just love how her cowl totally rips off her face! For me, that is sexier than just yanking it off. The ripping sound of the fabric is well done.

He already did quite a few unmaskings with Spider-Woman and lately made a best of video:

Basically what I always wish would happen if I see a masked heroine in action!

About 2 months ago I made a post about a great Batwoman version in Batman Beyond:

He managed to make this edit as he now expands to making edits with comics as well:

As I mentioned in the post to that comic, I really love her costume and mask. The costume is sexy and the mask is a great disguise and is also a great template for unmasking, mask damage scenes, and more! Seeing him yank off her mask like that is pretty awesome. I always hoped he would go for her mask at one point, he was verrry close once (see my post) but never went through with it.

In this edit, he does unmask her and I love her shocked face and reaction to it!

Both very cool posters in my opinion!

The right one: Good idea to have Ryan Wilder AND Batwoman on it even they are the same person.

The poster shows all the character that should play a bigger role in season 2, at least from today’s point of view.

Don’t know how big Julia’s role will be, but perhaps she should be on it as well as she was promoted to a regular cast member.

Tough choice but I slightly prefer the left one I guess.

First I wanna present one of the weirdest unmaskings in comic history!

In this old comic Kathy Keene is married to Bruce Wayne and wants to assist him as a crime fighter.

She puts on a Batman costume she fixed so that it would fit her and becomes the first Batwoman.

But soon there is trouble….

Well, that is weird for quite some reasons!

Seemingly her cowl isn’t attached to her cape! Why is that? And it just flies away? It doesn’t tear or rip?

This way it looks like her cowl was some kind of hat without a chin strap or a connection to the cape.

And you clearly see the age of this comic, she is a rather helpless woman, stumbles on the scene, calls Batman “darling”, gets unmasked and thereby ruins his carreer as well…just in a matter of seconds.

The current Batwoman (from the comics and the TV show) was a highly modified version of this one and debuted in 2006.

I used to know from which comic issue this was taken….

Can someone who knows help out here? I would add that info to the post.

In this one the whole cape flies away, what makes at least a lot more sense!

However “unmasked by a wind machine” is still a very ODD unmasking type

This friendly guy contacted me some weeks ago, and finally I can feature his stunning work on this blog.

Basically he edits scenes from the short-lived animated Spider-Woman TV show.

And he edits these scenes in such a way that they become far better than in the original version!

You (should) know how many opportunities to unmask a heroine are passed by the bad guys….which is really frustrating!

But, he masterfully improves these scenes and provides a much better outcome

I love it when the villain actually rips the mask off and thereby destroys it. My favorite sort of unmasking!

My favorite video is the first one above as Spider-woman is still concious and reacts to the threat of the unmasking.

The original scene is a great example how to screw up! Kingpin has her tied up and a camera is pointed at her. And what does he do?

He (just) says that Spider-woman is Jessica Drew! But he doesn’t UNMASK her on camera!!!!! WHY???? That would be the best possible thing he could do…..

But luckily for us, Orb305 has produced this outcome!

The first picture shows pretty much how a real mask/cowl for a heroine should look like in my opinion. And if you combine….this mask with that costume….

Well, as I wrote some years ago, I prefer Michelle Lintel as Black Scorpion. She and her improved costume are my favorite Black Scorpion version.

But Joan Severance did a good job as well in introducing Black Scorpion to us. And in the movies her cop buddy Steve managed to unmask her (even it was pure luck).

In my opinion I never saw a digital Batgirl that looked so great. In some pictures you need to look pretty close to see that she is not real. The costume looks fantastic, he did choose wisely. I really love this costume from the Batman video games.

If the producers of the “Birds of Prey”-movie would choose this costume with that cowl ….. I would be very, very, VERY happy

But back to the topic: Batgirl does look really fantastic in these pictures! Especially I love the pictures where the thug grabs her from behind. His hands so close to her cowl….he missed the opportunity to go for her cowl. But perhaps next time….
