EPIC Batgirl Cover!
Hey folks, in a few seconds you will see the best (unmasking related) comic cover of humankind. I saw it on Tuesday after work, and my mouth was open for several minutes….
What did I see? Let’s start at the beginning, first there was this cover:

…the brilliant and promising cover for Batgirl Issue 23 that was released last month. After the brilliant cover the comic itself presented nothing great, only the hope for some Batgirl unmasking action in the near future stayed strong.
And now, just 2 days ago the cover art for Batgirl 26 was released….and oh MY GOD! Like I said…I starred at the image on the screen before me and I was….thrilled….and so happy².
Ok, I guess you wanna see what I saw….here it is…the cover for Batgirl 26:

After the police hunted her for the last issues… Batgirl forced to unmask before her very own father?
The art itself is fucking amazing if you ask me. Batgirl pulling violently on her own mask….streching it…..revealing the face of Barbara Gordon! The look on her face…priceless!
Her biggest secret. And her father doesn’t know about it, it would be so devastating for her…
Now the bad part of the story…the comic will be released on December 11th! ARGGGGGG! NOOOO! Three month to wait…Damn, I have to calm myself. Siggi, be patient!

A lot to criticize for me, but it has a big plus point…
A shame they skipped the unmasking 🙁 . And the art is very very…simple. Seen a lot better “styled” comics than this one. But the cover…. 🙂

Masks off! #11 – Catwoman VS Dr. Zeiss (unmasked again)
Issue #11 from Masks off! This time Catwoman battles against Dr. Zeiss….and enemy that may be to big for her to handle…

…she is even unmasked! Well she looses her goggles, and in my opinion that is the main part of her masquerade… (I’m not a big fan of that catwoman mask-version)
But the fight is very good! And well, her unmasking isn’t her biggest problem after the fight…

Masks off! #10 – Batwoman unmasked…
…partially. To be precise: Batwoman’s (Kate Kane) masquerade consists out of two parts:
Her hot “front-only” mask and a wig (pretty much like the Black Scorpion design). In this scene one of the two parts is ripped off….

Masks off! #9 – Green Arrow (partially) unmasks Batgirl by ripping her mask!
For issue number 9 from “Masks off” it’s time again for Batgirl (Cassandra Cain)! She gets into a fight with Green Arrow, an arrow rips a little hole into her mask! He takes the opportunity and grabs her mask, stretching the material, ripping the hole wider to see the face under the full face mask! At the end Batgirl is partially unmasked….

And now the 2nd part! Batgirl’s mask is badly ripped, what will happen to her? Will the Scarecrow bring her down? Perhaps even expose her secret identity?

A well made fight in my eyes. But I don’t get why Scarecrow didn’t make anything out of the situation…her mask was ripped, he can see her face…why didn’t he take advantage of it?
But however…really good unmasking stuff!

In this episode of “Masks off!” Batgirl (Stephanie Brown) tracks down the Scarecrow! But she gets drugged and (nearly completely) unmasked!

What will happen to our mighty heroine? Can she escape? Can she beat Scarecrow? Is her secret identity ruined? You will get the answers in part 2 …. 😉
My opinion: Her ripped mask is really sexy…
Masks off! #6 – Catwoman gassed and unmasked by the Scarecrow!
Another issue of “Masks off”! This time Catwoman sneaks into a warehouse to steal some jewels. But it’s a TRAP! Gas fills the room…she wakes up…blinded by a lightflash. Someone is taking pictures of her….unmasked!

Great stuff, but would have been even better with her awake during the unmasking (and it should have been shown).

The Cat and the Bat #1 – Catwoman delivered to the cops!
There are so many little rendezvous between catwoman and batman, why not a new series about it? This time the cat steals something (big surprise) and batman wanna stop her… after a sexy little fight…….he ties her up and leave her to the cops! Can catwoman come out of this mess? Or will the cops lock her up and unmask her?

Another issue of “Masks off”! This time it’s Catwoman, who – dressed up as a maid – sneaks into a mansion to spy a little. Under her maid uniform she is suited with her catsuit. Of course her cat mask isn’t in place so she may get into some trouble if someone discovers her catsuit…
